Does anyone still genuinely trust 343 with the future if the halo franchise after all they have done since taking over? People complain about the constant criticism of 343 but whats the counterargument for why they don’t deserve the hate?And please don’t use that free dlc argument, it is extremely weak
Because they made a good game? That people enjoy? Having played all the Halo titles this is my favorite multiplayer, they are doing a good job, but people will just blindly hate them regardless. Its not easy to take on a franchise this big and get it right first time, or even second time. But they’ve made leaps and bounds from Halo 4 & MCC to Halo 5.
I have no problem with criticism if that’s how the majority feels. If they’re going to do their own vision than those who disagree are going to be disappointed. They have the reigns now so all you can do is hope they do what you like or be done with Halo. It may suck but that’s the way it is when things aren’t in your control.
After four Bungie Halos and two from 343, I have yet to be disappointed by much of anything I’ve seen. Well, make that Disappointed with a capital “D.” Sure, there a a million little things that get on my nerves, but nothing that takes the shine off the game. And as far as the little disappointments go, there are maybe even fewer of those now than there were with the “classic” Halos. I’m good to go, thanks for asking.

Them making a good game is your opinion. Even multiplayer isn’t as good as u think it is, it’s still lacking playlists and has horrible maps.This company imo doesn’t understand the saying if it aint broke don’t fix it. There deliberately going out of there way to distinguish themselves from bungie regardless of the massive negative feedback it will receive
It’s not a matter of trust. 343i makes Halo games now; if you don’t like the direction 343i is taking the franchise, the only recourse is to stop playing Halo games. This is why I’m not going to buy Halo 6 until after reviews for it come out, so I can get an idea of whether 343i learns from their previous mistakes with Halo 5.
And no im not a bungie fan boy idc who continues the halo franchise as long as they know what there doing and imo 343 drops the ball constantly. Halo 5 has been very negatively received and almost 8 months later still missing core gametypes.Devs worried about unnecessary reqs so much they didn’t even make btb maps themselves they handed it over to forgers who have made terrible maps.Halo 5s campaign was terribly executed and written

Bungie released Reach to massive criticism, we’re talking about a fan base that is always upset about something. Nothing is perfect and things always seem better in the rearview. Give it ten years and the vast majority of people crying on the forums daily will be saying how they loved Halo 5 but hate Halo whatever it is. I just hope 343 ignore most of you guys.

I hope fanboys like u stop believing the stupid things that come out of your mouth.No amount of years will ever make me enjoy this game. And before u say that im probably bad at this game I have a positive k/d and win percentage.People like u praise everything a company like this does even when its an insult to the fan base.

If I enjoy a game I am entitled to do so. Its my choice, I’ve been playing Halo since its release 15 years ago. I enjoy the way its changed, I personally can’t stand all the people who endlessly moan about something for the sake of nostalgia, there are those who stand in the way of progress and there are those who embrace it. I am apart of the Halo fan base who understands for things to get better they have to evolve and change, sometimes things won’t always be perfect, for instance I greatly dislike Halo 4, so guess what, I didnt play it very much!! I didn’t come to the forums every day and whine about it though.
This is a very toxic community already and I don’t intend to add more toxicity to it like yourself. There are 1000’s of threads bashing 343, bashing Halo 5, but you decided to start another one, what did that really add to the already ongoing conversation buddy? There have been threads where people have presented well thought out reasons for disliking either 343 or Halo 5, you didn’t do that. You asked if people “Trust” 343 and why they would do that. I answered with my opinion, which you were obviously not open minded enough to take on board, so why bother trying to start a conversation about it in the first place??
As much as I hate to admit it, 343 are doing pretty well at reviving the franchise. I personally am starting to find it quite stale with repetitive multiplayer gameplay, and the campaign did not help either. It’s fitting all the criteria for mainstream multiplayer based shooters which get all the moneys.
While I’m not enjoying this new halo, I trust 343 will revive the franchise by updating it to fit modern gaming, but at the sacrifice of good campaign and players who prefer playing by themselves (me ;-
They are doing okay, but when it comes to avoiding the axe okay doesn’t cut it. play it safe in some areas and be revolutionary in others.
I trust they can turn Halo around as long as they dump HCS. What I will never trust again is there marketing!!!
I like to think I don’t personally hate the guys and gals at 343, they’re just imperfect people trying their best like all of us (and I also don’t doubt that there were too many hands involved from their big bosses at Microsoft, in the production of H5), but from an “it’s-just-business” perspective, trust them? Nope, will never trust a word they say publicly ever again after the ridiculously deceptive course in which they took all the extended universe materials in between H4 and H5, including H5’s marketing campaign, including verifying numerous times that Cortana was dead and not coming back, and then did a complete about face and gave us a campaign story in H5 that had positively nothing to do with any of it. Then they insist it was planned all along which I believe is a bald faced lie since there was positively no foreshadowing of any of it, then insult our intelligence on Twitter and in magazine interviews if we’re not subtle and nuanced enough to understand their brilliant master plan for the lore.

Fair enough, but until 343 mans up and actually apologizes for the lack of content and straight up dumpster fire of a campaign they imo deserve all the hate that comes to them and btw im not against change unless its unnecessary (spartan charge,stabilizers, ground pound,) no im not against Sprint slide or clamber

And I’ve been playing since the beginning as well and if u like the game fine but what about the many who don’t were not gonna keep our opinions to ourselves and yes many people do moan or complain at least im not intense flaming and saying F everything 343 does
