you haven’t played the game blah blah blah, yeah i know but this is how it’s going to be:
- the DMR is more powerfull than the BR at medium/long range.
- the AR is a beefy weapon according to franky (indicating it’s strong) at short/medium range.
result:
- this makes the role of the BR (VERY) much smaller as it was in Halo 3.
ignorant BR fanboys will not accept this at first cause they are used to the BR as a weapon they can use in every almost single situation. people who are good with the dmr and the AR will be called noob. just because they ‘can’t’ use the BR according to them.

i’m really sure about this.
i expect this to change within half a year. if the game is really fun they will get over it and accept the changes.

perhaps. i think your right when you say the DMR will be more powerful than the BR in long range engagements because long range suppresion is one of the DMRs two purposes, but there’s nothing to suggest it will outmatch the BR in mid-range encounters.
the way i see it:
DMR - dominates both BR and AR at long range, equal to both at mid range, terrible at short range
BR - dominates mid range, okay at long range, okay at short range
AR - dominates short range, okay at mid range, terrible at long range
i see the BR as more of an all-purpose weapon =/ i don’t think it will pale in comparison to either of the other rifles

One MLG player says he kinda likes the DMR better than the BR, and everyone assumes the BR is useless.
