Trust me Halo will Die

Trust me, we need a visible ranking system! Look at all the pros responses about the game, all of them ask for a ranking system! Even if you do not like ranking systems and you just enjoy the game, the boredom will catch up to you for not striving for anything. EVERYONE will get bored of trying to get there SR-Yoink! to the highest they can get…

True, I’m almost to SR70 and then I feel like there is no reason to play.

One leaked screenshot from bungie, paired with how halo 4 has been managed makes me agree with the OP!

WHat do you mean by this?

Anyways is it actually possible for them to add such a ranking system now?

Yep, Halo’s dying, and has been ever since the population decline in Halo: Reach
It’s simple as that, really.

343i had one chance to pull Halo back up from the dirt and they failed. Do you guys realize how many players you’re losing?

I guess we’re all just holding tight until Title Update 1.0. . . >.<

The game is missing a ton of features on release, not to mention how poorly they handled the “play before the 20th” promotion.

No ranking system means no incentive to do well and improve, and people now just play for the heck of it. Not to mention this really butchers the game longevity when matched with the fact that you blow through the all ranks extremely quickly.
Many things are unbalanced, such as the DMR’s laser accuracy and fast kill time at all ranges,
and clunky vehicle maneuvering.

I know 343i really worked hard to bring us this game, and it’s really not that bad, but I’d have to say I’m fairly dissapointed.
I want Halo to be “the ground-breaking game” again!

I feel like the hardcore community should be the ones making the game, as they seem to know how to - well - make a game.

What’s so hard about listening to the player base?

Goddammit Frankie!

The bald god lied, Halo has died

It fell with grace, and landed on its face

How the fanboys cried, that it could be revived

But the smart ones knew, the end of Halo was due.

And we are hopeless to stop it.

So at the very worst we have no pros. That’s certainly not a bad death. Maybe by the end of this mortal venture we’ll have something that we, as gamers, can actually be proud of.

CSR.

I know all the “smart” (< pfft) people have given up on Halo 4 (yet they still play it), but why not wait until CSR is fully released instead of copying what everyone else has already said about this?

Am I allowed to disagree? Or am I going to get flamed?

btw I love halo 4.

Go for it anyway! Flamming is just the last refuge of the stupid in any case. It shouldn’t hold you back from stating what you love (unless it’s a felony.)

IDEM

Broken records, it’s number 2 on xbox live. That’s hardly dead.

Question is can you deny the amount of problems Halo 4 has and how previous Halo titles had better launch and overall playing/fixing it. (Excluding Halo 2)

Thanks for posting that.

But dying more and more everyday.

At this point, Reach is at #15, and Halo 4 is to suffer the same fate if nothing is done.
