Currently sitting in a lobby searching in BTB. We have 8 in our lobby. There’s another lobby I know of searching in BTB, also with 8. All players involved have good stats and are similarly skilled.
Both lobbies took about ten minutes to find a match. Both were searching the whole time. We didn’t match each other.
Eh, being that it’s sixteen players in a soical game I wouldnt hold trueskill to responsible. Could have been connection issues among other factors.
Isolated case, in my own opinion. I’ve had no issue with searching in the playlists that I mostly play nowadays (WZ, Super Fiesta, Slayer), and to my knowledge, just because two groups of similar size and skill doesn’t guarantee they will match each other. Also, I find it a bit hard pressed to say that one desired outcome not coming to fruition one times automatically determines the system is not performing adequately. If this happens again and/or more often, then that’s a different story.
I don’t think that just because you didn’t match each other that it isn’t working. Ask Josh on Twitter what he think. Give him links to games too.
You not matching doesn’t mean TS2 isn’t working, it means that the matchmaker didn’t think you guys would be a good match for each other.
