Me and a friend can win 17 games in a row against fellow generals and go up just once (From 24->25) but then lose one game due to being rushed (Which we fought off just) then being Scarab+Engineered (So broken) against generals to go down 2 skill levels (Back to 23)
Why is this system so broken. Every title update has reset us back to 0 meaning even though our win - loss is great we have never been to 26.
Is this just us?

The trueskill system isn’t broken in iteself, if you won 17 games and lost 1 and lost trueskill overall, then you were playing very low TS players.
Keep restarting the search until you get a game when the matchmaking system is looking for a “quick search” these teams will have similar trueskill and make you go up more from winning. More importantly, you can get better by watching some channels that show high trueskill matches and show the basics of good play.

When searching it almost alwasy takes around 3-4 mins to find me and my partner a match in 2v2 party teams, the only matches we get are against people with 40+ trueskill (which can be fun but it’s become too easy to predict exactly what stratagey they will go for from scouting) not least since all ‘High level’ players (40+ trueskill) nearly always do the exact same thing which is usually easy for me to counter with a few well placed warthogs on nearly every map except repository which is by far my least favourite map, the only other matches we get are against 15 or lower trueskill which tend to be a 5min roflstomp “Wow they actually lost to my warhog rush…”
Also i’m left wondering how me and my partner can have diffrent trueskill levels for 2v2 party teams even though we have played every match together…

The person with the highest TrueSkill will get almost every single bit of the TrueSkill gained from beating good players. The person with the lowest TrueSkill will get hardly any placements on the leaderboard.

highest trueskill acording to what, halowars.com or the in game leader boards? because we both started at 0 in game from the last leaderboard reset. So the only way to gain the same/more than my friends is to not play along side them…
Don’t worry about TS if your not good at the game, improve yor skills and watch as your TS goes up.
Fun thing about TrueSkill is that it may even drop if you win a game.
The system is little weird. I am not sure does it effect how much/quickly one wins/loses a game.
