It is impossible to get Cross-Mappin’ on the Evolved playlist.
I’ve tried for a while to get this and have gotten multiple kills with the DMR at a range where the reticule is blue on BTB. Am I able to get this on the Evolved playlist or do I have to get it on the Standard playlist?
Was it during Slayer? I remember going for it during an Invasion game.

It does have to be in slayer, im just wondering if I can get it in the Evolved playlist or do I have to do it on Standard.

Yes, you will be able to achieve it in the Evolved hopper.
I have read you can also get it by shooting vehicles, I cannot confirm it though as I got mine on Hemorrhage shooting players at the cave right of the red base.

I got the Cross Mappin achievement on Hemorrhage a long time ago for some reason, so I was able to get it easily.
I got mine a long long time ago as well
cross mappin must be done in slayer.

Yeah you can get it by shooting a vehicle that’s how i got mine by shooting a falcon on a community map

Play SWAT on Boardwalk to get Cross Mappin. Hold Red Snipe and watch Rest Stop.

I got in on spire btb, blew up a falcon with my dmr without crouching. To be honest I wasn’t even that far from it but maybe it counted because it was close to the top of the map.
i got mine playing SWAT on Pinnacle. Those were the days…
Just go into a standard Big Team Battle match on Hemorrhage for example. Then hang around the cliffs or the cave. I recommend hanging around the cave as there is a lot of cover. Eventually, enemy players will venture around the map, most commonly the cliffs near the teleporters. If you see an enemy player on the cliff opposite the cave, you should be able to get the get the achievement since you are quite far away, have a lot of cover and you’ll probably get “the drop” on that enemy.
