I’ll do my best to explain but something quite odd has been happening lately.
Whenever I enter the search for matchmaking about 2 or 3 seconds pass and then it automatically takes me back to the matchmaking choice screen, where you choose which gametype you would like to play. Nothing comes up on the screen in terms of error or anything like that.
Has anyone had a similar experience or know of a solution? Have repeatedly reset the xbox one/game.

Someone is experiencing this ‘idle’ issue: after usually 10 seconds of idleness ( so if you do not press any button at all during the research ) it will bring you back to the menu.
It is really strange. First, because not everyone has this ‘idle’ issue: when I am searching for a game I do not press any button at all and it works perfectly. Then because I met some idle players in these last days, so it is obvious that it doesn’t work for everyone.
Probably in your case the countdown for idleness is 3 seconds and not the ( I think ‘usual’ ) 10 or 20 seconds.
Let us know if you can proceed the searching if you keep on moving sticks or navigating the emblem menu or something else that involves pressing button every 2-3 seconds.

Interesting. What if you hold the right stick in a direction (to simulate not being idle?) Will it let you stay in matchmaking for longer?
