Tron: Legacy's Grid = Halo 4's Requiem

I was watching Tron: Legacy for the first time since playing Halo 4 and was amazed at how similar the world designs are. Hovering structures, moving light bridges, and the color schemes.

The Grid’s Sea of Simulation vs. Halo’s Shutdown level

C.L.U.'s Carrier vs. Requiem’s Terminal

Anyone else notice this? Looking at old Tron 1 screenshots, it’s similar as well. Just an example of old trendsetting sci-fi influencing today’s work I guess.

The forerunner art style reminds me of Tron legacy.Imagine Halo 4 with a Daft Punk sound track,it would be very confusing.

Yeah, the designs are somewhat similar, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Everything in Halo 4 is distinctly Forerunner, very reminiscent of Halo 1, 2 and 3. But yes, it is very Tron-like as well, which makes me quite happy since it works well.
