So I am a competitive / casual gamer (I like to win, but I really don’t get that involved) and I have had Turtle Beach X11’s for a a good 3 years now…literally. I love them, no complaints.
Recently I have found out about the cool looking designed Halo 4 headsets and I have head good things about Triton.
QUESTION: Is it worth the buy? Should I switch to the Tritton Trigger (49.99 ones) from my good X11’s (59.99 MSRP)?
Anyone who has these please reply and tell me your personal experiences and feelings about this. I need some good advice.
I have these HALO 4 branded Triggers…and they are amazing, the quality in sound is amazing for this entry level headset, and I have never been one to use gaming headsets as never needed them
I would not go back to not using them now. The sound and clarity enhance not only HALO 4 but every other game I use them with
Online chat is so clear, even my friends who I have gamed with for years say it the most crystal clear I have ever sounded
I cant fault them at all, comfortable to use, the cable is long enough and had them set up in less then 3 mins out the box
They are superb and well worth a purchase if you want a solid set of Gaming headset at a good price
And just to show I do own them, here is the pic I shared on Twitter the moment I got home with them - Not a bad way to start the weekend eh...!!!
Thank You, this is the kind of answer I was looking for. Well, off to the store!
I got a set of triggers to replace my x11s but honestly think it was a mistake. They just don’t seem as clear as the x11s as far as I remember
Bought mine a couple weeks ago and I love them.
Glad I could help, and hope you have the same experience with yours that I am having with mine my friend!
Bit of advice, you will have to remove the central art panel to free the headset from the box, but do it carefully enough and you can stick it back on lol
Enjoy!
Try the Tritton Detonator instead. 4 only 20 buck more they worth it I buyed them at the same time as H4 last week. You take the gamestop 1 year warranty. And you sure you can change them if the wire broke. I like them better then the X11. The wired with the X11 broke easily. WIth the Tritton you can remove the mic or unplug the headphones and only use the amplifier with other headphones. They even came with the analog adapter behind the 360 ( like the one you need to buy like 20 $) to plug the RCA cables behind. And by the way, the quality built is better. Turtle beach are betters in top quality levels models. Hope i’ve helped.
And yes, for 20 dollar more then the Triggers. The sound is very more clearer with deeper bass. Check the reviews…

I think the only “bad thing” about those Tritton Trigger ones
is that they don’t have 5.1 DD sound. (stereo only)
But i think they look nice. I should buy those for christmas
