Is this guaranteed loss of a boss fight in warzone firefight going to ever get fixed.
The first two are in areas they can be killed by high level vehicle reqs while the mythic and insanely tanky one is outside of most viable req range. Power weapons hardly hurt the guy and with the 30 second respawn timer in round 5 going toe to toe with him on foot is extremely taxing on the clock as players die in basically one hit to the guy.
I dont think I’ve had a single win where this was the closing boss fight. Bosses need to not be in an area where they heavily restrict options for the players in how they choose their reqs. Take tanks for example, you have to abandon them so that you can contribute. Why should I have to abandon my perfectly good ultra rare scorpion in order to go do a little damage with a splaser before getting one shot to the 30 second respawn box.
It’s only a loss if players aren’t willing to use tanks

You can’t hit the mythic one with the tanks. You have to go up and engage him on foot because thr base’s geometry prevents the tanks from engaging the mythic warden on the upper floor. All the spawning adds then shred the players keeping them from focusing the warden because they cant crowd control with the tanks they had to abandon.
There’s a big glowing bluish ball on his back. The answers and wraith ultra’s are your best bets. Focus fire on one target at a time, don’t try go off on your own and take on a single warden yourself.
I see that too often and lose too many games to teammates running off doing their own thing.
Well there is that option but most of the time it seems like there just isnt enough time to melt the final warden, from my experience players dont acknowledge is backside weakspot or are trying to assassinate him (which I guess is possible but I dont know how to do) and get killed as a result

This game has been out for like 17 months,if they haven’t fixed it by now, chances are they will not ever fix it
I don’t know which one is worse; the triple Wardens or the quadruple Hunters.
Never has a problem with hunters. They can be engaged with power weapons and hurt very badly with back shots. Warden ia vulnerable there but doesnt suffer the same level of damage when exploiting the weak spot.

The Hunters are mostly easy because they move around a lot more, and take less damage to kill. The Wardens are just an absolute pain because they mainly stand in one place, shifting a few feet here and there, and they take way more damage to kill.

Yeah; try squeezing four Scorpion or Wraith tanks through the entrance to the base. Even if you somehow manage to do that, the Wardens often like to retreat all the way back to the Pelican’s landing pad where you can’t even see them, much less hit them with your tank’s main gun. Even the AoE doesn’t reach them when they do that.
343i needs to remove boss encounters from the bases entirely. It’s not fun fighting under such ridiculous circumstances… tanks driving over each other desperately trying to get an angle to hit their targets, all while being EMP’d by the Wardens over and over again until your tank blows up and you have to sit through a 30 second respawn timer.

Well clearly this is where team work needs to come into play and not every one spawn a tank at once. Yeah I agree it sucks but it’s not a guaranteed loss either.

Maybe not 100% loss but its still got a high majority loss rate from personal observation and what Ive seen around here
Triple Wardens aren’t a guaranteed loss, but it’s very close to it.
The Wardens themselves (especially the Mythic one) is designed to be fought with vehicles. I mean, all of Firefight leans towards vehicle use over weapon use.
The problem is that the encounter is designed around infantry use. The Home Base is a small area, and you can realistically fit only one heavy vehicle on each side, and almost nothing in the middle. Aerial vehicles are useless here as well because they’re indoors.
So you clearly can’t output the DPS needed to take down three Wardens because you can’t fight him with a bunch of vehicles, with the hardest one in the back in the hardest to reach area.
Also, it’s not even the only encounter, so you don’t even start with the “full” 5 minutes to begin with.
- Stormbreak - Fight Two Knights, fight various Prometheans inside the Base, and then fight 3 Wardens - Urban - Fight 6 Soldiers, fight various Prometheans (including Knights) on the ramp to the base, and then fight 3 WardensBut look at ARG. Fight two Knights, and then fight 3 Wardens in the open.
Knight spawns should be toned down as well. Sometimes so many spawn that there is no way to focus the bosses because you are focused on trying not to get shredded by dozens of incineration cannons

I agree… mostly I get overwhelmed with the knights. I get away, find a quiet spot, find the boss, and try to take him down. Only to realise I’m the only Spartan trying to take him down, because everyone else is too busy fighting off the knights and soldiers. Obviously I end up dead, or we can’t finish the round, or both.
Someone has to draw out the Warden in the back. You gotta remember, they chase people, so if someone gets his attention, he’ll follow after them. That’s how you win.

Ditto on this. Either you or someone else on your team needs to draw out those Wardens (or Hunters). They can be lured out to the ground level, so tanks can sit just outside of the door and still have line of sight. This in general is hard to do without any coordination, and I’ve rarely heard anyone trying to communicate in FF.

Imo, this one is so easy, I don’t think anyone here knows what a phaeton is.

I know what a Phaeton is. I’m just not going to use one in Warzone Firefight, because it’s more valuable to me for PvP.

I know you know, I was aiming toward mostly everyone else.
