Triple Team Slayer is a mess.

So…let me spare you a ton of complaining and get right to the grit of the matter: Having 3 teams instead of 4 in multi-team just doesn’t work. More often then not it’s one team spawning in between the other two teams and getting destroyed in very short order, the two teams on either side fight, the pincer-ed team re-spawns in between them again, rinse and repeat. The traditional 4 team setup avoided this by quite simply having that one additional team to keep fights not centered on the aforementioned scenario. At first I really enjoyed this gametype, but I was on the positive end of the spawning. Now I see it for what it really is, which is a complete spawn unbalanced mess.

I don’t think the issue is the number of teams, but the map size.

I agree that map size and layout might improve it, but probably not fix it. I do often get a 6v3 feeling in that list. Also, it seems like the players getting the most enjoyment out of it are the Champion level players smurfing for killtacs and such. I think it’s actually designed to be an “unbalanced mess” and I still play it for the sheer chaos. I just have a social, casual attitude with it. Same in Super Fiesta.
