I don’t know about you, but I LOVED triple team slayer. I play mostly arena and since halo 3 I’ve had a simple, unconditional love for multi-team playlists. I really enjoyed this version of multiteam, especially since the last version of multi team was on the BTB maps and it was the first time I hated the playlist. The only thing I would like to see is objective game types in addition to triple team slayer, which they said was coming in last week’s community update.
I think we need some kind of dedicated social arena-rules playlist for warming up before ranked play - warzone assault and BTB are not good substitutes for that, IMO. If not social objective or social slayer, then I would be ecstatic with a triple team playlist on a more frequent [read: permanent!] basis.
Usually I’m the first to bag on 343 because they make me so frustrated with their decision making, but I believe in positive reinforcement and criticism - purely loved triple team slayer, kicked some -Yoink- in it, and I hope you all did too.
I always played Halo 3 multiteam social when I didn’t play Rank games, it was just mayhem and fun. I am missing the Oddball and King of the Hill objective gametypes of it, god and even VIP. I did enjoy the triple team slayer because it felt chaotic and not competitive, like you just played to get skills in whatever fashion, but I did miss the objective games that usually accompanied multiteam. Hopefully these will be added in the future.
100% agreement, I think adding objective gametypes is literally the only thing that I would change about the game. I always enjoyed oddball, King of the hill, and headhunter in previous multi team playlists. I think those additions would be awesome.
I I also agree on your other point, it is chaotic and great for racking up kills… To me, it has the same level of action/chaos as Free for all, but is a little less sweaty and a little more fun because you have a small team with you. Anyway, I played the hell outbid it while it was up and really, really hope to see it come back soon. It was a great warm up before slayer or arena

YES! I would like to see how 2v2v2v2 plays despite how much I love Triple team. Just so long as it isn’t on any of those awful BTB maps, it’s a hit in my book glad to know that some of you also enjoyed it as much as I did!
i preferred 2v2v2v2 on 4v4 maps with social objectives. 343 hasnt done that yet
