I didnt find it as hard as other Halo games tbh. But if you want to make it easier just play mythic FF for a couple days then go play legendary.

does that tactic actually work? I know that it wouldn’t work on the third level since there is the arena area outside of that town
Fun fact is that the speed run WR for the complete campaign is something like 1 hour and 15 minutes lol… they have found many ways to go out of the map to skip things but still one hell of a job.
If you are just doing it for a possible infinite reward check the videos on YouTube, some are truly helpful if you are stuck somewhere.
I enjoyed the legendary difficulty on H5 more than the older games tbh. Enemies weren’t complete bullet sponges and most weapons are actually useful opposed to only running around with a plasma pistol.

same, the ai is just gonna hinder you unless you stay really close to them
If you pretend like you’re fighting solo, you’ll have a much better time. Your Spartan companions are only slightly more helpful than the Marines from previous games.

The AI are not that smart at all. I’m currently replaying Halo CE and when a Marine jumps in the gunner he doesn’t shoot until we pass the Covenant. Like come on buddy.

Pretending you’re solo is a great idea. Might have to incorporate that into future campaign endeavors.
i usually go for it from day 1, to get the achievment and then maybe heroic, always solo.
i had to restart some missions over the fact that checkpoint got stuck in instant kill, how many times i got killed and how much time i spent was crazy

I played the campaign 2 times only. Both were solo legendary. There were only a few sections that I found hard. I think its doable, and if you think this was hard, try LASO. Now that’s a nightmare.
Honestly H5 on Legendary is not that fun. Let alone on Solo. When I played it, I was permanently traumatized.
Playing it on co-op is the only way, and Linda and Kelly can both get thrown out the window because of their awfully useless loadouts (and additionally that Linda is just overrated).

Yeah, I really agree with you dude, mainly in the part that you mentioned the weapons use, that makes H5 something fun in this sense.

I loved H5 LASO. I completed it both solo and coop. I’ve heard much complaints about the AIs being unhelpful in H5. I thought this same thing until I played Solo LASO. Solo LASO forces you to learn how to use the AIs properly. They still do dumb things, but man they are so much better when you actually know how to use them. They are the BEST AI teammates of any Halo game yet!
for me this was the easiest game so far
I dunno, Halo 5 on Legendary felt like Heroic, but the Knights & High Ranking Soldiers were very annoying
