Triangular Maps instead of Square

So, I was just playing and spawn camping has been a bad thing for halo for a while now… We were on H5 (plaza) and it was just running from one side to the other… The score was obliterating and the experience was not fun…

In regards to this, I was wondering if anyone thinks having triangular Maps instead of square with an extra set of spawns would help. I don’t know what would but I think this should be addressed in infinite.

In this instance spawn killing can still be achieved even on triangular maps, as long as you know where the spawn locations are and can get there fast enough. Spawn camping is not related to the shape of the map, more like the size and if there is anything blocking the spawn from view. For example, in Halo Reach it was hard to spawn kill in sword base because there are so many levels the player can spawn on, where as in powerhouse it was easy if you had a sniper since you could see a large portion of the spawn areas from certain spots.

(TLDR) The smaller the map and the easier it is to get from one location to another will impact spawn camping, the shape won’t change it though.

Why have simple geometric shapes only? the shape of the map has so many options on it, you could even shape a map to resemble a country when viewed from above.
And spawn camping is less of a result of a base shape of the map & more of a result of combination of bad geometry design & bad spawn design, well, maybe not exactly bad individually but as a result of unfortunate combination.
So you could go nuts on base map design without it having straight relation to spawn camping, more that matters is it’s size & whats in it.

Triangular maps would still result in the same outcome in some cases as square maps when it comes to traversal, in addition to the map being even smaller.
