I’m just curious if this is true. I was going to get the game for my birthday on the 20th, but I convinced my parents otherwise because of the specializations you get if you play before the 20th. Now my question is if I’ll still be able to get specializations with a trial gold account. I’m currently using the 14 day trial that comes with Halo 4, and I want to know if I’ll still get them with the account. I didn’t question if I was or wasn’t until I tried to get the achievement for uploading something to your file share; a feature I cant use due to not technically having a gold account. If I could have an answer from a 343 employee, or an informed player I’d really appreciate it.

from what i heard it will email you a code to your email used to make your xbox account just if you played halo 4 multiplayer before the 20th gold or not
