what about downloading the MAP OF THE WEEK or MONTH like we used to from halo reach? You go in the game, and it shows trending maps, screenshots, and gametypes… What even happened to that??? Smh 343…
This december update better include all of this stuff.
I don’t miss that feature. It was mostly -Yoink- like “Join my clan!” in the screenies, and the maps were “FAT KID+POO POO BUTT”

As someone whos played halo reach through its entire lifespan… there was not one of those join my clan pics… ever.
The map has to get upvoted to even be trending. The feature allowed many popular style forged maps to become known. Such as the Halo Reach Nascar map. Where you continuously drive down a hill and get teleported back upto the top… only to go infinitly faster and faster until zombies kill you.
After this map trended.. EVERYONE was making their own version. Same thing with loads of other maps. If you don't miss this feature then youre killing halo.
Holy -Yoink-, you never saw the pictures that were just clan adverts? Jesus, man. Did you even play the game?
I really miss that feature… I remember when my own video was #1 most watched and downloaded saved film for a few weeks. Good times, good times…

Yep. I was a forerunner rank
One below the maxed rank. And there was not one clan advert… for to be in the map of the month or trending… theyd have to be downloaded enough times to be up there… And put up there by bungie. Which they weren’t. So bye.
Yeah, the “Insert Community Made Stuff Here” of the day/week/month were a great way to work towards something, and have a way to put out your creations for others to see.

I VIVIDLY remember seeing dozens of clan advert pics on there. It wasn’t even funny, how many there were.

Youre mistaking fileshare… for trending…
I likes this feature, but it was usually some stupid clan picture of a map with Elite -Yoink!-.

Negative, sir. The file shares were actually pretty much useless in Reach. You couldn’t view them when the game was loading, unlike in Halo 3, where you could pass the menu time by looking through people’s file shares and whatnot.
There were plenty of clan advertisements in that section in Reach. You just didn’t see them apparently.
