I assume this is something that will be fixed in the final release? There wasnt any movement in the leaves or branches of the trees at all in the flight, they were as stiff as rocks, like a PS2 title.
Yeah I know this isnt the biggest issue, but it makes the maps feel more realistic and modern.
I agree. Don’t listen to the trolls. Right now I wouldn’t say it’s a priority to work on, but a more life-like world would be nicer. Hopefully later down the the road, they can add more physics to the environment, even the ability to knock trees over, etc.
I know others are mocking it but let’s be real about it, if they supposedly made this engine from scratch one would expect improvements or even something new but physics wise what’s new in this new halo game? Absolutely nothing.
people can make fun of little things like this thread, but there are people already picking apart how lacking this “new” engine has been on various things now be it the explosions, the physics of objects, the player physics themselves, etc etc. for a 2021 game yes, this is pretty sad to be blunt.
I have to agree, it would definitely be a lot cooler if leaves and branches were moved by the force of explosions or vehicles crashing into the tree. Bark getting blasted off would be cool too.
Not a game breaker, but hopefully the little immersion details like these keep getting expanded over time! Infinite does already seem to feature a ton of small details though, so maybe this will make it eventually
I couldn’t care less about tree physics or fruit physics in multiplayer. But in campaign, small details make a big difference. I would like it addressed in the campaign in the future if it’s not there. Btw, its not a completely new engine from scratch, it’s a massive upgraded version of the Blam! Engine.

> Fruit physics, tires disappearing, and now this?! Infinite is literally unplayable! It’s going to flop so hard, especially without a battle royale!

> (yes, this is sarcasm. I hate that I have to point it out but there’s legitimately people who believe it to be the case)
