Trash Talk

Just wondering. Can our opponents hear us trash talk for a few seconds after we kill them? Anyone know?

There’s no inter-team communication in-game. That I know of. I’ve certainly never heard any.

Welp that would suck. I recall in previous titles being able to hear people trash talk and vice versa

I miss that so much hearing the enemy when your close, used to be social too, now it’s just boring silence and feels like you’re playing alone.

I kind of miss being able to hear eachother. Some of the funniest things get said on Xbox Live…some from the past I can’t repeat here. But still funny!

Headphones? Check
Microphone? Check
The only conversation I hear is in my party, or none at all. Kinda lame.

I think the only time you can trash talk or taunt them is after the last kill or time runs out. I sometimes hear the other team then, but usually don’t have a mic in so I can’t respond

In the lobbies but still not as fun as in game

Why did they take out proximity voice?

Glad most of you guys agree that it’s a feature that should’ve been included in multiplayer and it’s missed by you all

I think there would still be in free for all? I’m not sure. I’ve heard some funny things before.

hehehe, ahhh yes

Player 1: " WTF…How’d he kill me? "

Player 2: " Shouldn’t be talking to your friend while trying to sneak up on someone, sucka!"

It does seem like very few people actually talk during in game if they’re not in a party.

No but they should. I think of trash talk as a strategy. Works pretty good. But for now we can only tbag/ shoot bodies… Or punch the defeated .

In halo 2 and 3 I used to say false things when i was sneaking on the enemy team, pretending to talk to my team saying our base is empty when in reality someone was there with a shotgun…

or things like “Im out of ammo” and then they stupidly rush me lol

All I hear when I play is bad music, food, or someone saying how high they are when playing.

Lucky, all I get are demons from Hell screaming and hissing through the mic.

Shame I really can’t hear my enemy when I kill them; cause if I could, I might be making people so salty I could sprinkle them on my french fries :P.
Seriously though I’ve killed God knows how many enemies, and I haven’t heard a single one rage on me in a game for those few seconds after I killed them.

Doesn’t really matter. Proximity chat died when Xbox Live Parties were created. Until there is a feature that makes you leave your party chat when the game starts, proximity chat would be a waste of time.
