Trash fiesta it’s worthless

Its fine to admit you don’t like Fiesta, but its not imbalanced lmfao

That’s where you’re wrong. It’s incredibly imbalanced by design, and you bet that’s a problem that ruins what could be a good game mode. And it’s not just getting bad rolls either. I don’t like spawning with a SPNKR and a hammer any more than I like spawning with two pistols. No kill feels earned, and nobody is outskilling anyone. That’s a problem, and if it takes one tweak to fix it, then by all means fix it. After all, they only allowed the default grenades in this mode for the sake of balance. End of the day, a balanced game trumps pure RNG and always will.
Also I never admitted that I didn’t like Fiesta; there was no admission at all. I stated outright that I don’t like Fiesta, and consider it wasted potential.
Thankfully, wasted potential that can be fixed.

You’re playing fiesta and whining about fair kills and skill

Lmao. Fantastic response hahahaha

If you think simple neutral criticism is whining, then you should probably leave the internet; you’ll be hearing a lot of it. That you’d say I’m whining tells me you’re getting unnecessarily frustrated yourself, when I haven’t done a single thing to slight you other than call Fiesta broken (which it is). You’ve made zero attempt to counter anything I’ve said other than “no, you’re just wrong” followed by a fake “lmao,” and the occasional insult. Great argument if you’re twelve years old, but to people older than twelve it makes you come off as pathetic, and that you just want to “win” whatever it is you’re getting at.
Fact is what you’re staunchly defending against is somebody daring to suggest a quickfix for a busted game mode. I’d imagine the devs welcome criticism and probably built this event partially for discussion of this kind. After all, spending this much time with one mode is going to cause people to notice core problems with it (Oddball’s many confirmed bugs for example; have they even fixed that broken mess yet?) I’ve given plenty of valid arguments myself, with nothing to suggest they’re flawed yet; certainly nothing you’ve said.
It’s just a shame that you have no inclination to discuss anything.

Look, I get it. It can be frustrating to die a bunch when it seems like the enemy team is getting nothing but swords and rocket launchers. But at the end of the day, it’s just Fiesta. It’s just a mode for poops and giggles.

Sure it’s fun to run around with hammers and rockets, but for me another part of the satisfaction of fiesta is killing the guy that has all the power weapons when all you have is a couple pistols. Then you get the pick up the good stuff while you t-bag their worthless corpse.

I think you’re grossly misinterpreting me as upset, when I’m anything but. Also a gross misinterpretation: your concept of fiesta as a game mode. Its not meant to give you a fair shake every single time you respawn. You’re going into fiesta and expecting something that is not fiesta.

That would work to add a bit of consistency to Fiesta. I think I would just remove hammers and rockets all together from player spawns and put them on the map.

Game mode literally needs to be removed and never added back to the halo franchise it’s completely favorable towards your enemy I got rockets twice in the last 3 hours and the enemy had nonstop rockets not to mention I could shoot any gun full magazine making 100% contact and they don’t die and then they one shot me with even a Plasma pistol uncharged and I die instantly the game is broken it’s all this game mode

No. The game doesn’t hate you any more than any other player.

  1. Some people don’t seem to understand how random numbers work.

  2. Skilled teams seek out and share weapons from fallen opponents. It may look like they are ‘lucky’.

  3. People are calling out for non competitive game modes so they can ‘chill’… but then end up sweating bricks that they don’t spawn with power weapons for their next kill streak

Not true when the challenge is win fiesta but you only get hand guns while the enemy gets only power weapons if not random it 100% un balanced, unfair, and not fun at all

It’s not meant to be a fair game mode. It never has been balanced. Personally it’s my favourite game mode.

I would much rather have the win challenge than the assist challenge I got 3 different tiers for. I have to purposefully avoid power weapons to complete those.
A win is essentially 50/50 chance, because, yes weapon spawns are random.

It’s 50% balanced.

That’s how random works.

Anything worse than that is on you.

This is honestly shocking to me. In my many years of interacting with the Halo fandom, I have only ever seen massive praise for fiesta-based modes. Halo 4’s Husky Raid became an instant classic, and in Halo 5 BTB Super Fiesta was considered the definitive Halo 5 experience due to its celebration of the game’s diverse weapon and vehicle sandbox. TWO of the permanent social arena playlists in Halo 5 are Fiesta-based, pointing toward great enthusiasm for the concept. From what I’ve seen, Fiesta has always been referred to as great chaotic casual fun, yet as soon as Halo Infinite comes around it’s suddenly the worst mode ever created? What?

Exactly, in past Halo games, it was a fun diversion. The problem with Infinite, there are so many bad weapons. So instead of the fun, think on your feet, with what you have been given. Most of the time, it is a race to pick up something better, or die.

I should let it be known that I am not devoutly religious, but OP needs to pray to RNGesus more often.

We all get games where we spawn with crap. And sometimes we get games in close quarters maps with energy swords for 60% of our spawns. Earlier today I had a KD of 10-10 in Fiesta. Last week I had a match of 21-4.

That’s the thing, there should be no crap weapons. Just skill on how to use them. Infinite is just full of crap.
