I know about the Easter egg race in oni sword base, but the transport warthog in the start with the wraith can be retrieved.

  1. set difficulty to legendary with thunderstorm skull on.
  2. fight your way through the yard as normal and get the target locator.
  3. since the covenant have extreme killing capabilities the plasma turrets on the wraith will kill the marines accurately.
  4. destroy the wraith side on so you can get a view of what you’re doing.
    this may take a few attempts

There is another more popular way. It is to emp the hog with a plasma pistol while it comes around. You usually have time to take control. You can also do it on all difficulties without any skulls.
