Transfer Halo 3 pics to PC via USB?

Just wondering if this is possible to do? Read some places that you need a special program to open the files and read somewhere else that you don’t. I just wanna get some halo 3 pics I took onto my computer. Any help??

Thanks!

As far I can know, it isn’t possible. PCs don’t read Halo screenshot files (since they are not .jpeg, .bmp, .gif etc) when you transfer them to USB stick.

yeah that’s what I figured… :frowning: is there a program or anything that could change the file type?

If I wanted screenshots from a film I saved I would use my elgato capture card and just snapshot the screen to generate a jpeg on my desktop.

Capture cards are the best way really without Halo 3’s fileshare online anymore.

This. Get a capture card, take the screenshot and then view it on theater, print screen or something, save image. That or if you want a less compressed image you can just take the screen cap of the game directly without taking a picture in theater and then apply anti-aliasing later yourself with GIMP or something.

Or go to halorenders.com and have someone render it for you. Just a suggestion =)

Awesome thank you all for the help!

sorry for the stupid question but how does the halorenders site work? how would they have access to the pictures I want?
