- bigger, spacier maps to reduce TTK (I get that maps need to be competitive but I feel that the competitive maps with 5 lack originality and scale, with sprint, thrust and the movement schemes possibly becoming integrated into 6 I think it would be nice to bring back the iconography previous titles held like big well designed maps. To me there is nothing memorable about 5’s vanilla maps and tell them to stop with the remixes.)
- Better customization that isn’t reliant on a Req system (customization similar to Reach and 3. 3 colors such as primary, secondary and detail and armor attachments)
- couch co-op/ offline mode (xbox one’s can support system link/ LAN and Halo has really been a group experience that can bring friends together) even when Halo 1-Reach servers close we can still play them through system link. I think as a fellow gamer and collector I would want a product multiplayer that would still be open to play years after the servers closed down.
- plot that shapes the characters instead characters shaping the plot (5 was an interesting attempt to introduce us to new characters, albeit poorly executed) with 6 I would like to see Halo’s writing return to the style that mirrored Greek epics and bring back Marine AI ch as Chips Dubbo and Pete Stacker)

- less linear campaigns, look to bungie campaign styles for next halo level designs…
i actually like these ideas. i kind of like linear campaigns though. more like the classic halo games. the one reason why i didnt play much odst was because i had to roam around and walk to some place just to start my mission.
