Trait Zone Issues

It resets my Trait Zone traits back to default every time I leave and reenter forge. Does anyone have any idea how to get around this issue, it’s terribly annoying.

Well, I read somewhere online that setting a field to “(unchanged)” will revert it to the default for that trait zone. I made sure not a single one was (unchanged), however, and it still set all the trait zones to default as soon as I left the game.

I am making this on CTF, is that possibly the problem, do they not work on that gametype? I honestly do not know, the process is straight forward enough that I’m not sure what I’m missing. I would hope 343 (or CA) wouldn’t put a feature in that literally didn’t work at all sometimes.

I’m not huge on bumping a topic a ton of times, so last try. I did spend a few hours on the map, so if someone has any clue that would be pretty helpful. Thank you.

No idea mate.

I have a problem where if you have a trait zone with a radius of 50 (for example) and have the gravity set to 50% then put another trait zone with gravity being set to normal, it doesn’t seem to get cancelled out, it just remains as the bigger one.

Well at least I can hopefully help you. When a trait zone is stacked, the latter letter trait zone channel takes preference. So D > C > B > A.

Therefore if the big trait zone is D, you cannot overwrite it with one inside. However, if the big trait zone is A, you could overwrite it with any trait zone inside of it.

I solved the issue, look at the post here to see it if you’re having this problem:
