Trainer Wanted for Reach

I want to get better at Reach, so if you think you are good and got something to teach please help. I will one v one you to make sure you are better than me.

Thanks to whoever helps.

TimZaRob fileshare… three maps are there for you. You just need to find a friend who is as equally skilled as you are to play them. That way your skills develop together. Getting crushed in a one sided struggle is not going to be a fun way to learn.

Octagon:

16-gon:
Medium to longe range training. YouTube video

Perfection Henge:

These maps are train only for weapon/combat proficiency training. After you feel you have a basic handle on using weapons properly move your studies to forge world… Examine a few things like

  1. spawn locations, respawn locations and spawn zones.
  2. weapon locations and there respawn times
  3. vehicles locations/ respawn times

And congrats… You will do better than most folks. All you need now is teammates and basic team skills.

> If anyone thinks they could teach me to get better at Halo Reach. Please do. I don’t care what you teach me as long as I don’t know it already and it is not BS. And I want to verse you one on one before you teach me so I know you are better than me.

I don’t play Reach anymore… Won’t play for a while. Mainly due to injury. It’s rather painful for me to sit upright. Sorry. However I hope my record and videos speak for themselves. I do ok.

Also, ever map in matchmaking starts the same. At least, what I mean is… Every game/map has similar objectives.

  1. Secure your team’s power weapons,
  2. Use those weapons to a) counter enemy power weapons b) secure other power weapons and power positions
  3. from places of advantage (power positions) be ready to react against a) enemy action/spawning b) teammates calling out c) new power weapons/ power ups spawning

Other than that, you will eventually feel the push and pull of combat. When do you hold the line and when you sneak around a flank. More often than not… You should hold the line. Flanking gives you a chance to pull off a nice surprise and do some good damage but you will more than likely die. The best map I could think of that shows this idea the best is probably enclosed.
