I cant stop myself from watching that trailer it was definitely one of the better trailers 343 has done was so mysterious something that has been missing for a long time in halo
It was an okay trailer and a good teaser, but 343’s best trailer is still the Halo Wars 2 E3 2016 trailer.

That one was cool, but mostly because it confirmed Arbiter in Halo 5 and revealed that Locke was hunting Chief. To be fair, Idk if it was revealed before that trailer because I wasn’t into Halo news or the community back then.
Really? I would hardly call it a trailer. It’s more a tech demo for Halo Infinite. A teaser at most. Hardly anything that entertaining about it.
I much prefer the Halo 4 live action trailer, or the Scanned trailer. Or even the Hunt The Truth trailers, despite the ultimate controversy. Even E3 2011’s Halo 4 teaser was more entertaining (there was mystery, urgency, a new weapon was showcased). Halo Infinite’s announcement is closer to the E3 2013 Halo on Xbox One teaser, which is just like “look, it’s the Chief, get excited!”

Oh my bad. See, that trailer is great and all, but it’s for a game we’ve already played. It was essentially only hyping up the Blur cutscenes, so that’s why I wouldn’t consider it the best. It was a very good trailer, and I‘d be ecstatic if 343 made future launch trailers similar to that one.
My favorite trailer is the live-action Halo 3: Landfall. Watching the ODSTs fend off the Covenant while waiting for the Master Chief’s arrival was one of the most thrilling, heart-pounding experiences to come from a video game. I feel as though that trailer was able to show off everything that made Halo so unique. The inherent grittiness of warfare; epic scenes involving Warthogs, Banshees, rocket launchers and grenades; and the inspiring music that reveals itself in the end. Bungie did a great job of making the entire 6-minute feel realistic – something that I feel has been MIA over the vast amount of years. Hopefully 343 can reclaim that same level of grittiness that Halos 1-3 possessed.
