Which would you rather have seeing gameplay footage for the first time, a trailer or ViDoc?

Oh, probably Vidoc.
A Vidoc would probably be more enlightening but a trailer would probably be more exciting. Right now I’m kinda leaning towards Vidoc. In the past they sometimes did the trailer and then made a Vidoc discussing what was seen in the trailer and giving just a little more info.

LOL He was just so excited to see the word gameplay in a Halo4 forum. Definitly ViDoc because its more informative of whats being presented, and trailers are relatively short and weak, I like the developers explaining the footage

Vidoc. Halo Vidocs are always so classy. The only way I would want a trailer is if they did a CG one that rivaled Starry night.

Vidoc! As is saw Reach’s first one i was absolutely blown away. I hope Halo 4 will do the same… and keep these feelings up for a long time.

I’d rather have it be in the form a VIDoc, since not only do they show plenty of gameplay, but they also give information on the engine, design process, and just how they approach the project.

I agree. We need epic trailer!
Definitely ViDoc. Not only do we get a glimpse of the gameplay, but we also get to see them talk about their approach on the game as well.
I don’t care which one, as long as nothing major is spoiled.
VidoC i cant wait 
ViDoc. I’d prefer to have devs explain what’s going on than have a trailer where it’s a free for all with assumptions springing up left and right.
Either, or. I would prefer a ViDoc or BTS vid, however.
