Trailer Map and Armor Relate to Specific Mode

I don’t mind this, if this is related to “Spartan Abilities”.

I got that feeling when looking at them. To be honest, the armor really reminded me of my Halo: Reach armor that I changed to every time I played Grifball. Arena definitely sounds like a new hopper focused on competitive play. Infinity Slayer will (hopefully) still have its place.

I’m actually surprised how Halo 3-ish the chest design is. A bulky, antiquated Mark IV/EOD (which the Halo 3’s version modeled after)…

The helmet in the teaser kind of reminds me of the military police from halo: reach, i’d say that could just be a coincidence, but some armors have seen pretty big changes between installments, like scout, eod or rogue.

When I first saw it, I was like “EOD confirmed!” Then I watched it a few more times and saw that this likely wasn’t the case xD Honestly, I’m just hoping for more practical armor that makes sense from a design standpoint.

Also, the helmet reminds me of Air Assault. Glad to see another large-visored helmet!

Perhaps this portion of multiplayer is what fits canonically. Maybe you get these abilities in a the new Spartan Ops and there is one game mode in multiplayer where you can have them?
