This was just a Warzone query: I was wondering if the Marine AI can trade weapons with players. This way we could better equip and defend the bases we hold as a team.
Also a side note: In future games, perhaps a trade or swap weapons gameplay between players could be implemented. Much like Gears of War 3, it could be a request and then a accept or decline… this could better share weapons. In the case of the same weapon, the ammunition would be equally shared between the two players.
The problem with this is the moment you give a marine a power weapon, a different player on your team would grab it lol. But I guess that could be a perk. If you had a sniper REQ and wanted to share it, a nearby marine could act as a trade conduit lol.
I can’t wait to get my hands on WarZone.

Thats true, perhaps the weapon can only be taken from the initial player that gave it to the marine, until at least, they die.
I cant see a good reason to do this. The ally AI is usually pretty derp and enemy players will trash them regardless. I see the marines like the AI soldiers in Titanfall. As cannon fodder.
I like the idea, but Galactica is right, other players could grab it. I’m not sure how difficult it would be to code each weapon to each person.

I agree with you for the most part, especially in past Halo games. But I’ve seen marines kill Spartans in WarZone gameplay vids. Sometimes they throw a frag in the perfect spot…
