On topic, any game with an online component is going to be “toxic” (I work in corporate American and absolutely hate the term toxic btw). Either ignore it or be an obnoxious overly positive smart -Yoink- to whomever is talking smack. In my experience that throws them off as they typically want you to fight back.
Where/when do you experience someone being toxic? I haven’t ever.

Not productive? Also perhaps but it’s just newer players most of the time. TBH it’s actually pretty intertwining when someone spouts off “team players are ruining the (team based) game”. You can’t deny that is the definition of irony
