Toxic players

I know this is an old issue but despite the 5 years that halo 5 has been on the market, I keep running into players who do not tolerate being in 2 place or that one gets to win or bad if one wears armor like Achilles and thinking that that is why one must be the best in the world … I can’t understand how the halo community has become so toxic in recent years, bad if one wins and bad if not, the pairing is only toxic players who do not tolerate their defeat or that one does something to them that ruins the game … They take away the fun in a game.

First of all, I’m dying at the fact you said “if one wears armor like Achilles and thinking that that is why one must be the best in the world…” LOOOL that’s so facts on how people act about that. First of all, I understand the toxic players. For example, I played FFA on Reach and absolute slaughtered this one dude (not bout to name drop, feel me?) and he messaged me that he was gonna kill me and my family. Like i get that stuff, there was also another post about toxic players not too long ago on the forums. But it’s part of online gaming. Haters jus hate. If I were you, I’d turn off mics (that is if you don’t use callouts, etc.) then you wouldn’t know if they’re pissed at you or whatever. Halo is meant to have fun, not to be talked down on.

When allies betrayel you, turn off the micro won’t make a difference

Not following closely but I can imagine its the environment the studios brought with having that armor behind an excruciating grind.

Always has been. 343 didn’t invent the idea of jerks playing Halo.

Well I just wish they would turn off friendly fire it would fix some problems.

They will never do that, it’s part of the gameplay to careful about your alllied when you shoot.
I think that halving the power of friendly fire could be a good solution to limit the betray and annoy the toxic player

I know which is why I don’t play multiplayer much anymore lol I’ll be fighting my teammates off more then the enemy.

Toxic players are the worst the gaming community will ever have, they always betray me for weapons hahaha

Lol same

If I’ve learned anything throughout my years on Halo, it’s that toxic players will always exist. They have been around since the very first Halo multiplayer server. Halo 3 lobbies were the absolute worst. This is why I try to only play with a group instead of randoms. But I haven’t played online in quite some time. I usually just grind through the campaign with my brother. Halo 2 campaign never gets old.

The banishment option should be available from the first betray, so people won’t do it on purpose

I made a video to show how toxic players can be annoying when they betrays you :
