You sound quite aggressive yourself also destructive why do you need to mute your mics when playing Arena not much help to anyone on your team
I will fully admit that sometimes when I’m a couple beers in I’ll curse into the mic a little too much. It’s usually never at players though, it’s just in complete shock at what I’m experiencing in regards to hit registration, blank nades, and blank melee’s. I actually had to stop drinking Scotch while i played H5 because it made me a little too aggressive on my mic
.
Anymore I usually just tell team mates at some point in the match “Hey everyone, I’ve got 100 ping and I’m getting blank melee’s/bullets a lot, so I doubt think I’m going to be much help.”
Then when the round finishes I proceed to yell at Infinite’s server as if it’s in my fire team
. “Why am i playing on 100 ping server constantly?? I’m so tired of just not having my bullets count it’s ridiculous!”
Even if you curse in your mic I probably won’t know which of my team mates said it. To me the voice chat is something rarely occurring when I hear some faint human voice, usually having trouble to clearly hear it and I won’t know who said what. Meh. Nothing beats the text chat (which almost no one uses in this game due to its bad design).
Had a guy berating our whole team on chat last night night playing oddball. I supposed I could have turned it off. Everyone was basically the same rank but he was calling everyone trash and they they need to gtfo of rank if they’re going to play like that and blah blah. Kinda ruined that game for me because if I could have left I would have but with it being ranked I didn’t want to quit out. i looked at his halo tracker stats and he definately had no room to be talking with his stats. Some people just suck and you just have to deal with it. For all the matches I’ve played lately I really haven’t run into too many though. Ran into some fun people playing CTF later that had mics so at least we could all chat it up and that made up for it. On a side note I wish we had an easier way to stick with a team that we like maybe at the end lobby like a stay on team option. It just needs to be easier to join up with people that you click with as a team.
I agree. You’re a POS. GTFO nobody wants you posting here
What’s the law? This sounds like complete BS mixed with a lack of personal responsibility (of taking a second to mute the player). People with these types of opinions are toxic too and make online game even more anti social.
Just need to make muting people not so cumbersome in this game.
I like how Team Fortress 2 does it. Hold tab, click the name of the player you want to mute, click mute, done…
There’s always going to be toxic people in gaming, worst I’ve experienced is the OG MW2 lobbies , best you can do is just report & move on even though I bite back since I grew up in those OG MW2 lobbies
I consider those who report anything other than cheating in video games, more toxic than the toxic players they’re reporting.
I mean… Look at waypoint. FPS games just have toxic fan bases.
Well, nothing you said is true and it barely made sense. Want to retry?
Just FPS games? From my experience all video game communities are awesome. No reason to single out and make pretend that only on genre is great. (let me edit a JK here because i can tell you’d think im being cereal).
Also. You do know that you can reply to everyone in just one comment, right?
I like my way better. I’ve also never seen any other gaming community be that rude except Twitter fanboy wars.
Nothing is more welcoming than twitter.
RTS is one.
MOBA is another.
RPGs are even more bombastic.
Minecraft/lost ark type games are huge on being fantastic too.
Dark souls speaks for itself.
Fighting games get real flowery.
Perception vs reality i guess.
The Halo 5 lobbies could get nasty.
I often got lumped into a mix of North and South America. The racism that came out when anyone dared speak Spanish was awful.
I’ve reported a lot of people in my time.
And about once or twice a month I report people for inappropriate gamer tags.
It’s like a rite of passage as you get older. ![]()
Based on what thinking process, may I ask?
So you’re why Na3d Eli is KIA
Andddd I don’t really play any of those genres so apparently I’m missing out. Or am I?
If you don’t feel like you have missed out than i guess you have not. I’m more of a “variety is the spice of life” type but to each their own.
