This tournament is crap now. I hope you learned your lesson.
And by the way, only the lucky few get 4 maps. Most of us keep playing the same map over and over and over again.

And yes, I know network manipulation is caught eventually and the cheaters disqualified. That doesn’t change the fact the games were already ruined and can’t be corrected.

And I wasn’t proven wrong. There is a reason so many people play swat. Because it’s easy to manipulate.
And campers and spawn killers win swat all the time.

Fact: You don’t know what you’re talking about.

I’m terrible at basketball. I know hardly anything about competitive basketball. Therefore, you’re not going to see me trying to tell the NBA how to run their thing.

Spawn killing is a part of the game. That’s is like saying the tournament is broken because you can get grenade or melee kills.
I’ve yet to encounter this and it is highly unlikely you have either. Perhaps all those shots not registering is you missing?
Teaming up is both highly unlikely due to the way the pregame lobby is set up and not necessarily that helpful as to make it into the top 4 you have to win every match, making teaming up pointless.
This is a legitimate point, but as far as tournaments go if this is the main problem then things aren’t too bad.
5+6) How does this ruin the tournament? Sure, it may make matches repetitive but when playing for $200k I would prefer to be playing on the most FFA friendly maps than playing bad FFA maps for the sake of diversity.

Are you talking about your threads getting locked? If so, I would stop.
Also, who is this “we” you refer to?
Just because one person hasn’t encountered network manipulation doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
Spawn killing certainly is part of the game. But on swat, you have no way to get away. One shot kill gives the person who spawns above the spawn point a huge advantage. If I have shields, you certainly aren’t going to be able to spawn kill nearly as easily.
A Global Tournament should utilize all weapons and all maps and all game types.
I hope 343 has learned their lesson. Making an entire week of one game type is a mistake, let alone swat.
