Which weapon commendations are the hardest for you guys?
Well, I don’t know about hardest but my bolt shot still isn’t even started…
assassination ones :l
For me it’s the Binary Rifle. You have no idea how good I am at taking down someone’s shield with that weapon and then someone else kills him.

I only have that and the lightrifle completed out of the forerunner weapons.
Well I’d say spartan laser just bcause it is my lowest weapon one, and is so annoying to get outside of warzone

Yes! The beam and sniper are far more effective killing agents. The binary feels weak compared to them.

It’s the last one I need for UNSC weapons. I don’t have any reqs left either, rng never gives me lasers.

The best way for binary i found was do big team battle and hope for antifreeze and just camp the beam rifle. Many people only play big team to mess around and so it is a lot easier to pick them off, especially on strongholds with capture points in open areas.

I have a few but i never spawn them unless for a boss, because my luck with using them against enemy vehicles is just too poor. Too many times i hit a mongoose just for it to survive and then drive away, or a warthog that somehow doesn’t blow up from a perfect shot.

This happens to me a lot. I feel like I’ve made a perfect shot yet nothing happens! I actually find the railguns far more effective against vehicles. The Selene lance is pretty good tho once you master the recoil on it.
My last remaining weapons are the Beam Rifle and the SPNKr. The Rockets can wait until i build my REQs for them. Which is the issue for the sniper, I have no REQs for it and its not in any known arena missions. However, once there is one would be able to crank it out fast. SPNKr kind of the same thing. However, there is a single BTB Arena mission that have it. Thus, can be done slowly. However, it is NOT a part of the UNSC Weapon Mastery so not as a primary commendation.
I will answer your original question now… my hardest weapon will be a tied between Plasma Caster and the Suppressor. At first I was only using WZ but my REQs were depleted fast with the Suppressor. It wasn’t as easy as it was in Halo 4. It was difficult to be used at range with multiple opponents without proper cover to counter the enemy. Similar with the PC. However, not only these weapons but all of them, once you know how to use them then you will be a effective adversary. Use tactics with any weapons especially if you have the right team to fight with and coordinate. Let me know if anyone would like some instructions for any of theses armaments.

Any tips on the incineration cannon? I’ve hardly used it, I’m actually quite terrible with it. I have plenty of reqs but not keen on wasting them without having a better understanding of the weapon.
SAW. Why? There’s no arena map with that weapon and I almost never get it for warzone, and when I do, someone kills me before I get to use it and then someone steals it.
Suppressor. Because it’s trash.

I got a good chunk of my IC kills in BTB or Warzone Assault. Camped tower with it on Basin, and usually in the corner of the armory in assault. Definitely charge the cannon up before firing, and try to aim for their feet/legs.
Beam rifle was my last weapon that I finished, with the exception of the SPNKR that was added later. The main issue is it not being on any of the Arena maps or even on Team Snipers weekend playlist. The laser was difficult until I started concentrating on it. Got a lot of them finished on Deadlock during capture the flag.
