throughout all the halo games we all faced trolls , MM, Clans, and Gaming communitys in really tough battles
so I ask what was your best toughest battle throughout halo you ever have faced
mine was with an all elite clan known as SAF (Sangheilian Armed Forces) I encountered them on Reach multiple times
they used tight team tactics to take control of the entire map at the start of the game
power weapons and spawn was always under there control
but they have one great flaw
if you could break team connection and separate them and have them fight on their own it will be much easier combat them. They can still put up a good fight on there own though
I faced something similar, but on Reach, on the Grifball community on Reach, once in awhile one encounters a team of Inheritors and their friends. Once in game, they demolish the other team (with a vast range from skill and communication, the opposing team stands little chance), and they proceed to Spawn kill until the game itself ends.
Most high ranks see this hierarchy and just stand on the side lines as the Inheritor team kills and kills, and most just leave automatically.
However when I was face with a team of Inheritors around two months ago (I do not remember the gamertags unfortunately.) They tried demolishing my team and me, for the most part, I was the biggest threat to them since I was brutal with the hammer and light on my feet with the bomb. I found myself in constant confrontation with them the whole game, having two or more trying to hammer me down, but with my reflexes I took most of them out, I’d get the bomb and swiftly travel across the map, deciding the perfect moment when my team got their side of the map, to score. We ended up winning 3-1, it was truly superb!
Well for me I chose to get a 50 on this account in Halo 3 last summer and that was pretty brutal. Half the time I played my teammates would betray me or quit out, but the real problem comes when you get past 45. At that level about 1/3 of the people you run into will be cheating, either through the use of aimbots and bridging, or host booting and J-Tags in more extreme situations. J-Tags suck because they allow people to cheat in all sorts of ways, like flying in the air, super speed, giving themselves infinite ammo etc. The reason this is a problem is because you’re supposed to win game after game against people who are actually good players, and then when you have to deal with cheaters, quitters, host booters etc. on top of all that it can make you feel like throwing your controller through your TV as hard as you can.
I eventually found a good partner and together we got our 50s legit, but damn it was hard. Ranking up from 48-49 took about 30 straight wins because of how much EXP my account had. Fortunately 49-50 was easier, I got it after a run of about 40 wins and 6 loses.
Toughest battle I had was on Halo 3 Social Slayer BRs on Epitath and it involved some of the most determined try-hards I have ever seen.
Within about 10 seconds my team was absolutely flattened by one BR, I noticed this and went the other way round only to find two of them there, I was able to kill them but this just opened the flood gates, they then converged on my location and I was swarmed in seconds. I got to camping, my only objective now was not to win but to go out with a positive KD.
I pulled it off using the left side of the map (from Red spawn) and a shotgun placed near the area, the enemy team was not pleased and would often T-bag me when they finally got to me.
