Yes another boltshot thread,
it is absurd that this 1sk weapon is a loadout weapon, and combined with camo it’s just a noobfest, no skill what so ever and it’s really starting to grate on me,
sort it out 343 for the sake of game fluency!!

So… How about when someone is using Camo, you DON’T charge into the blue dots, and instead just stand back and lob a couple of nades at it?
The Boltshot and Camo are overpowered separately yes. But together, I find they are actually pretty useless.
Crouched camo player does not show up on radar. You sound as clueless as these camo + boltshot players.
Ugh there are so many ways around them.
We have promethium vision and holograms to counter them.
Also ever consider just moving away? If I can’t deal with them I just move on, no need to waste time, I mean on the harvest map some genius camper thought I would come his was with the flag, I just moved away and ran the whole path on the right and scored.
Plus yeah motion tracker helps, if anything it’s easier to at least spot them rather than be killed by them.

“Stop going around corners” typical response. Trying playing King of the hill where EVERYONE has a boltshot. If you dont want to win, sure stay away from the hill. If you try to capture the hill, you will get one shotted since everyone uses boltshots there.
I love it when people use the bolt shot. I just whip out my loadout with the hardlight shield, and anytime they try to use it on me, I catch them with their pants completely down around their ankles.

You sound as clueless as…well, you’re clueless, because the BLUE dots show up no matter if the user of camo is crouched or not. And if they don’t show up, the person has disengaged camo.

.A.hhh…yes it does I kill them all the time. I see the blue dots even when they are crouched.
HLS will take care of that boltshot for you.
and there are times when the cammo radar decoys do not show up even if they are in cammo. It is in no way a constant thing that happens all the time, but I have seen it a few times, the player is crouched with cammo, and when I shoot at them they move and then the decoy dots appear. But I have only seen that happen twice on Wreckage and once on erosion when playing a custom. It is probably just a connection/map issue though.

Played KoTH. Not everyone had Boltshots.
Problem?
OT: Nade the hill. Outrange them and BR/DMR them to death and then claim the hill. Mindlessly rushing into it is what is getting you killed.

Yeah I was one of the main ones RAGGING ON ARMOR LOCK when the Reach BETA came out and noone listened…well…

…you wanna be an ‘invisi nerd’, a boltshot camper? run your -Yoink- to the p/u and EARN IT. GET 5 REAL KILLS and get an ORDINANCE for AC or a BOLTSHOT.

Not always. I’ve run into many invisible players not on radar when playing. And I look at the mini-map almost constantly.
I’ve looked in Theater, and I still see it happening. It needs to be fixed. On top of that, I question why PV doesn’t work for camo? Logistically it should, IMO.

i say get rid of active camo. I know its a halo mainstay but as a loadout perk it is cheap. Its should be an ordinance and be like halo 2 camo. I use the boltshot, its a life saver and it is not OP, ppl know to aim, don’t bum rush the boltshot guy and use your radar. Granted there is def a glitch where active camo users are not showing up on radar as blue dots, that needs to be fixed asap.

I can see how frustrating that must be…dying to the boltshot 47 out of 3259 deaths. That’s nearly 1.5% of your deaths!
Why, that’s almost as many times as you’ve died to the Magnum, one of the other starting secondary weapons…the one that’s not allegedly “OP”

The big problem is camo on big maps with power weapons… sniper, bianary, etc. That is ridiculous and in no way good game play.
You dont like camo camþers , well guess what ? tough sh~t deal with it
