Torque too big?

I’ve noticed on all my matches on Torque (mostly swat) that people just up and quit, I’ve noticed that for a 4v4 gametype, its kind of large, maybe it only feels that way because the teams were smaller (generally 3v3 or 2v3).

Anyone else feel this way?

add me for swat.

yet people liked The Pit?

and people complain maps feel smaller because of sprint and the abilities?

i dont get it…i need chemo

It’s really not that big.

The pit was kind of large, but it was well lit, and it stayed the same, was easy to predict movements, and had clear walkways. Torque changes, pathways alter, its either too dark, or really bright, which I don’t mind, but when you combine that with the pathways being weird, and that predicting movements are changed based on the maps variants. I don’t know, I don’t mind the map, but as I said, I haven’t played a game with a full 4v4 team, it might play different.

No. The only thing wrong with Torque is that having 2 Hammers and a Rocket is dumb power weapons to have on that map. Also why is there no rockets during assault??

they should just have one hammer and move it below rockets in bottom mid. Having 2 hammers is absolutely stupid

We need more big maps and mid-sized maps. I appreciate the space in Torque (no pun intended), it’s a nice map

i like simple maps all that moving stuff in maps is eh… i prefer riptide over torque.

I thought it seems to big as well

Torque is terrible because of the double gravity hammers.

Torque seemed just fine to me on SWAT.

Honestly, Torque and Riptide are my favorite Arena maps. I don’t get why people bash them so much. I’ve had some of my best games on Riptide.

Now its not a bad map, and I quite like riptide as well, it just seemed big to me

For swat, I like big maps, like in Halo 4, I loved Complex.

It’s not the size of the map it’s just that it’s not a good map. It’s a cluster of tight quarters that most halo players don’t like because it becomes more about kill stealing and luck of spawn.

The only way anyone would say that a map was too big is if 343 had finally beat us all into submission with the ludicrously small maps they’ve made standard equipment in this game. IMO, maps cannot be too big. I would gladly play 4v4 on a warzone map and think it was awesome.

Toque is probably the worst map out of all of the maps available. I cringe when torque is on my screen.

^ This. Talk about a crazy opening fight in the middle.
