Hello all, this is kind of a public address to the mods of Waypoint moreso than the community. I hope this doesn’t get me in trouble for discussing moderating decisions but I have an inquisitive mind so heregoes:
Many of the topics with polls get moved to the poll discussion forum, regardless of their relevancy to the forum they are originally posted in. For example, this thread was posted in the H5G forum and moved to the Poll Discussion forum. I’ve sent some private messages to a mod previously and he clearly stated that polls do not have to be exclusively found in the poll discussion forum. I don’t want to disclose the source publicly as that seems awkward, but the message read as follows:
> Just heard back from the team. Sounds like polls outside of the polling section are perfectly okay.
Please note I’m not complaining, and the topic used as an example was just that: an example. I had nothing to do with it’s posting. Just hoping for some clarity on posting policy. There are times where I want to post topics with polls, but don’t want them getting lost in the poll discussion forum and like I said before I have an inquisitive mind.
