You’ve clearly never played Skyrim. About all you get is a “Weight” slider which is just noodle VS. buff and that’s about it. (Unless you install some mods, ahahaha.)
But if you want to talk about reality, why not include the reality I live in? That we all do? IDK if you know much about transfolk but while we start out in the binary… Most people cannot tell the difference after a while. I haven’t gotten Sir’d in years and I live in a pretty gender ignorant area, lots of Let’s Go Brandon flags around here. Everyone knows I’m ma’am just by looking.
At most I get remarks about my height, being 6’3. Chest definitely gets stares.
The gender binary is not as clear cut as you might think and a lot of us do not adhere to the middle of it. There are plenty of cis people who are very particularly outside of the norm. I’ve known a few hipped up guys in my life ( ) and plenty of ruler shaped women.
Here in the dregs of a forum post’s body that has strayed from its original focus for far too long, we witness the atrophy of human interaction.
Obvious bait far too delectable for dialogue starved and eager political lurkers to pass up. And just like that, the trolls are fed and hunger for more…
Biological males and females exsist and that’s what should be protrayed. They are labeled because that’s what they are. Again. I seen no issue with this in halo 5. How is this all of a sudden a problem?
It isn’t a hot topic. People make it out to be tho. It’s pretty simple that they should’ve gotten the basics down first and then added upon that. Asking for things when we don’t even have the basics makes no sense
So this forum is clearly using the discourse forum build. If you do a lot of programming you’d be familiar with it (it’s like stack overflow for nice people with specific language interests). My point is that rapid flood of comments, posts getting off of their original topic, and blatant insults of any sort are typical reasons for locking stuff.
This thread would be locked about 20 comments ago in most communities. If you can’t read and interpret a basic code of conduct, then this isn’t the place for you. Try reddit. You can do almost anything there.
Doesn’t matter if YOU feel included. Others don’t. Pretty sad that your turning this into something more than what it is. Especially implying things that are outside of Halo( the area you mentioned you live in and who’s around you)
That’s because of the way it’s designed. The more people reply. The more it stays up on the top. The more it stays up at the top the more people look. That’s just artificial traction. In a regular fourm this would’ve died already
Mh, let 'em go, they’re not very good at arguing their points anyway. I mean they did just say they want women to be included. So I said I was, as a woman. Then it doesn’t matter that I’m included. You know, as a woman.
Are you really saying random things at this point? How about you address my specific points instead of making vauge comebacks in a conversation you only just arrived in
But there’s not a single person telling you they don’t exist?
Why do you need a box to tick to tell you what you already know?
Are you genuinely threatened by the lack of labels or worried that random only wont know your gender?(genuinely asking in no way a derogatory rhetoric on my part.)
by 2560 medicine will make the process of transgenderism a fairly minor inconvenience for the dysphoric.
How does putting the word male or female in the ui change things for you?
It wasn’t a major issue in halo5 but what is an issue, as is often the case with many of the issues the community has with 343 era halo, is going backwards
This instalment set a new bar for inclusion for the franchise and you are asking they remove it and take a step backwards.
Hasn’t infinite removed enough of what we should expect from a halo without taking away one of the small positive steps it has managed to take in representation?
Do you need an ethnicity box?
Or a sexuality box?
Or a highest level of education box?
All the info you want to attach to your spartan you can actually do right here in your bio if you so choose.
I really don’t see how the numbers do anything to suggest gender doesn’t exist in your view.
To me it just lets me pick the body that I feel best represents me.
Going around in circles here. There have been other women that expressed direct feedback on this exact issue and even referenced the fact that it wasn’t an issue in halo 5 as it is now. I’m not ingnoring them. You are. Like I said. Just because you feel included doesn’t mean others don’t
Now you’re bringing me up in other threads in a disrespectful way? Please don’t. You’re not being nice here.
And when I said what I said, if you remember correctly I was careful to say some women didn’t feel represented. Which is true. Some women don’t. But whatever. I’ve tried to be nice to you, and now you’re gonna put me down when I’m not even talking to you. Nice!
