Maybe, but still. It would only take them literally ten or so seconds to reply with a simple, clear and concise, yes to Forge at launch. So why are they dodging the question if there’s nothing to worry about?!

How is he dodging the question? His answer is plain and simple “forge is coming and has significant improvements. You will see it this month.”
The question the guy asked was not asking if it was coming at launch or not, if that is what he wanted to know he should have been more specific but he asked if it was coming to game and frank replied with a yes basically.
They’re going to be showing forge next week that is where “you will see it this month” comes in.

Sounds like they want to have a grand reveal, and not make an announcement on a web forum…
he said “forge is coming” because people on Neogaf were speculating that the mode would not be a part of Halo 5.
And he said we’ll see it as early as next week…
BTB isn’t coming at launch and they announced it ahead of time, I don’t see what they wouldn’t do the same for Forge…
i think we should let them reveal the game in the way they decide is best, and not panic just because they won’t let Neogaf dictate their marketing schedule.
Two things.
First. How does what Frankie say hint, prove or even suggest it isnt launching without forge? Because they havent spoken about it yet? Please, that doesnt mean anything. Halo 3’s forge was announced just over a week before release.
And second: Forge died on a shield world, not Harvest.
Also here’s a little side note
When they show whatever they have done and want to with forge and it turns out to be something that will be amazing but it will require a little delay I see nothing wrong wit that at all. That would be a smart decision that they would be making.

I think you’re looking into it too much. There are always questions about forge, we will see it before Halo 5’s launch, unlike BTB. I haven’t seen any doubts about it being at launch.
If it’s not going to be there, I think they would’ve told us by now.

That might be a simple explanation for that.
He doesn’t want to say it won’t be at launch because that would cause an uproar without additional information - but properly unveiled and explained people might even get behind the decision.

Anyways, even if it isn’t available at launch, as long as it’s patched in a week or so after, I’m all good.
I can’t imagine there being that many people that jump directly into forge and nothing else. And for those that do, Project Spark went completely free this week, so you can crack binge your creative delights there in the meantime.

No, it had pay walls and DLC addons. Everything is free now.

hell, they might even launch the app BEFORE the game comes out.

Yeah, I also thought about that, what if the release it right after the announcement so that there is already a lot of content when the game launches?

Same way they told us about splitscreen? Lol. That doesn’t mean anything.
I personally don’t think they’re dumb enough to leave out forge at launch, BUT it’s not out of the question. They’ve done this in the past, and still do the whole dodging-question thing.
BTB is one playlist. Not a big deal. Forge is a major mode in Halo. It can’t simply be ‘patched in’ after launch.
Forge will be there. Details will be revealed very soon.
I think Frank means forge news when he says forge is coming.
