Hello everyone. Let me start by introducing myself. MY name is Brandon but I’m more known for my online handle Geno. I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 1. My earliest memory of Halo was 1 on 1 sniper battles on Boarding Action.
Over the years I’ve had a lot of fun playing Halo. A lot of moments in game I wish I had a way to show off. Halo 3 introduced us to Theater mode. The ability to record our moments to share with friends and family. This was an awesome feature! Tons of hours worth of gameplays are out there to view in Theater mode for Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4.
The problem though is that you can only share those with friends who own the games. Many times I found myself in conversation with someone outside of Xbox Live talking about those cools moments but no way to show someone on the fly.
So I created a company called Top of the Leaderboard. My companies goal is to have a platform for gamers like me to have their theater footage captured, recorded and posted online to show off to our friends outside the game. We record your gameplays and clip them to be viewable online. Then we post them for you in an easy to find fashion so you can share them with your friends and family. The best part, we do this for free.
We even help clans and gaming communities with promotional videos. Something to get their name out there. To show off what they are doing to attract people to join them. One example is a gaming community I work with called The Honorable Always Triumph, or THAT. I made a video using clips and gameplays from various games including Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Call of Duty and Skate. The video was a lot of fun to make and I really like the feel of it. It’s sort of like an art piece more than a promotional video.
I love doing this service. It makes me feel like I’m doing good for the Xbox Community. I get a sense of pride knowing I’m helping those in need. However, it’s hard to do it alone. I need more people who can record and who wouldn’t mind doing it for free. It’s a lot of work capturing footage for people and sometimes I let projects fall through the cracks do to my own personal life.
I’m here seeking more people who can help me out. I need filmers. Anyone who would be interested in working on this project with me I would greatly appreciate it. Again, I cannot pay you. I don’t make any money doing this myself. I do it for the love of the game and the admiration of the community. Any help I get is greatly appreciated.
