With the month of mythic now here and here to stay, I was curious what people thought of all the different mythic weapons and how they compare to each other. There’s only four full weeks this month, so presumably 343 will only release four mythic weapons. I’d like to see how their choice of what mythic weapons to release stack up against what people’s favorites are, and which ones they decide to leave out. I’ll go ahead and start:

Nornfang that low down the list, huh? That’s crazy. And I’m guessing you’re a diehard fan of the earlier Halos looking at where you placed the ce magnum and h2 br, which isn’t really a mythic but I guess can count if you’d really rank it above most other mythics.

The Nornfang is down there mostly because I’m not terribly good at sniping. I wouldn’t say I’m a diehard fan of earlier games. The main reason I’ve placed them so high on the list is because I’ve found the CE Magnum and H2 BR really fun to use.

Nornfang makes those who aren’t terribly good snipers, excellent snipers. You don’t even need to hit the enemy, about half a body width on either side is the hitbox. Instant kill with twice the target size is pretty OP.

It’s just a regular rocket for me. I have a lot of them, gathering dust in my collection. I don’t get their purpose or why they deserve to be a mythic. I’d rather use a High Five.
1: Nornfang (It’s nornfang)
2: SPNKR prime (bullets fire so fast, almost undodgable)
3: Prophets Bane (Your fast, invisible, and have an energy sword)
4: Tartarus’ Gavel (Speed Boost, Gravity hammer, fires kinetic shockwaves)
5: Whispered Truth (seems very underated)
6: Halo CE Magnum (VERY overated)
7: Oathsworn (I’d rather call in a Blaze of Glory)
8: Jorge’s Chaingun (A saw has the same kill time…)

Agree to disagree I suppose. The added damage resistance and jump height are a nice addition but when you can shoot across the map in 2seconds its amazing. You can also get more multikills like this
Three of my top four mythic choices have been released so far, and that means that the nornfang is going to be closing out the month of mythic tomorrow. Get those credit cards ready boys, 343 is about to be cashing in big time.
