Top Advices You can give for Halo 5 Multiplayer

This post is to share the biggest helpful advises we learned that helped us survive in the Arena and Warzone. Here’s what I learned in matchmaking:
Arena: The Buddy System! Following around a team-member in Slayer can bolster survival when engaging the enemy. Especially since most players prefer to go solo!

Warzone: In Firefight, request a Scorpion REQ at the end of the 4th round. A functional tank, even if one, can make it easier to take out round five bosses faster, time expiration becomes less of an issue. Use Wraiths to take out hunter/warden who spawn inside fortresses!

  • Know when to leave a battle. If you are outnumbered, and are taking a lot of damage, don’t just sit there and get killed. Get some cover if possible, regroup, then re-engage. - When you die, don’t rush right back in to the battle, or where you were killed, be strategic and pick your spots. - It isn’t about how many kills you get, it is about how many times you don’t die.

cant find it, do you have the link?

Don’t play it.

Best advice; get fluid like with Halo’s new movement mechanics. As much as I may hate the additional running and thruster pack, I am super confident in my ability to get around the map flawlessly. Plus, this will leak out when you approach opposition, your ability to move un-traditional-like will help you compared to players only set on running forward and charging.

For Warzone specifically (does not apply in Arena)

  • Die as much as you want - Make sick warthog jumps with a loaded vehicle for those Flying High medals - Splatter people with a loaded Hog for those sweet and salty Road Trips - Try not to run into large engagements alone, take a few buddies with you (or stick yourself with a plasma first) - Plasma Pistols are your friend - Shoot at all bosses when you see them, regardless of your weapon. Your stray cross-map SMG bullet just might get the final hit - Get rad Mongoose splatters and honk your horn obnoxiously as you do donuts on the enemies’ corpse - Try your best not to splatter teammates - Look both ways before crossing the road - Don’t charge or pound your teammates off ledges, that’s not a cool guy thing to do - Be a cool guy as much as possible - Have fun

Play with a group of people (preferably people who are really good) and practice constantly. Eventually you will learn what works and doesn’t work for you and your team which will help you become better at the game.

thanks!

Use cover often.
Watch for enemy wherever you go.
Expect the unexpected.
Take advantage of power weapons whenever possible.
Give it your all.

Start of each match:
Sprint towards whatever’s closest: power weapon, overshield, invisibility
For every subsequent life:
#1. Find better weapons, know how to use the hydra, plasma caster, even needler… All are much better than starting weapons.
#2. Know the maps well; camp in area that’ll ensure one kill without dying
#3. Navigate the map looking for respawns, easy kills (wounded opponents)
#4. Always finish your fights, if a new opponent appears, stay focused on who you already hit
#5. Don’t chase. If the opponent runs around a corner (assuming they aren’t a one shot kill), forget it and move in the opposite direction. Chances are they were waiting around the corner and, unless you follow, they are essentially useless until they give up on waiting.
#6. Don’t get put on a team with terrible players. It’s inevitable due to the matchmaking process, but this is the most important factor in winning.
#7. Watch your match replays to see how the best player did it. Try not to rage when you notice hardly any of their shots actually connecting.
