Hello everyone,
I was wondering what weapons everyone thought could receive a change from current halo to the next, whether you want something new, or something old to return, for example, here are mine
#5: halo 3 fuel rod gun
- I personally loved the design of the halo 4 fuel rod gun, I think that it look a lot sleeker and matched with the other covanent weapons a lot better than the new design that appeared in reach, as well as the old reload animation and how it bounces off the walls, maybe you can hold down the trigger to allow it to bounce once, like the grenade launcher, before it explodes
#4: AR/BR - I’m including these two as the same spot because they have similar problems, the new art style and the ammo. the artstyle of the AR looks too bulky and the color looks, well, disgusting. the BR honestly looks too bulky as well, I like the slim model of the AR from Reach, how it looks technologically advanced, but still something that a soldier would carry and the BR, well, I like the halo 2 model much better. The magazine in the AR is also too large, i’d prefer it to be back down to 32 and the extended mag to 60 to match older halo games and the BR needs more reserve ammo, atleast in campaign, or a way to find ammo
#3: Spartan laser - I preferred it when it was green, like the original Spartans that it was built for, but that’s all
#2: shotgun
as with most of the weapons on this list, its way too bulky, I prefer the older models, but another thing, why does it only have 5 shells? for the past 3 halo games it had 6, and before that, 12.
#1: Chaingun
the halo 3 chaingun was amazing, I loved running around with a mini gun the size of a car in halo 3, its the one weapon that should be bulky, its a 50. cal. Mini gun! the turrets now adays look too compact and modern, not futuristic and innovative, they don’t look unique
