I’m on my phone, so I’m ma keep this short. They don’t need an explanation why because intelligent players know why these weapons are often ignored, used ineffectively, and under appreciated.

Agree with everything except light rifle and plasma pistol and change them to binary and boltshot. Also it’s plasma caster.
Plasma Caster is underrated for objective game modes but when you are playing just slayer it does kinda suck
Honestly everything on this list are great weapons. PP is essential for BTB and Warzone when vehicles control the map. Plasma Caster isnt great for warzone but the smaller arena maps allow for epic ricochet kills. Hydra Launcher is extremely lethal in BTB. the Light rifle is by far the most powerful of the marksman rifles (besides snipers obviously) and the supressor works great in small team arena. Heck the only weapons i feel are truly underrated are the binary rifle (Which is awesome but many ignore it anyway), all the different turrets and maybe the base boltshot. Honestly i feel that if there is anything the H5 got right it is without a doubt the weapon balancing.
Carbine is criminally underrated. Theres a sweet spot between mid and long range where it just beats every other utility weapon because they can’t zoom in.
LOVE THE BOLTSHOT. SO UNDERATED & SO DEADLY
i agree with the supressor being under rated. i just recently discovered its benefits, specially the variants in warzone

Would have to agree there. I too was also going to say Carbine.
honestly, i think the suppressor is the only weapon in the game that isnt to par with the rest of the guns, however it still looks great, and is not bad by any means, but its just not quite as effective as the rest of the weapons, but you are right with most of the rest of the weapons, exchange light rifle with boltshot
The common suppressor is meh it can beat other loadout weapons if you get the jump on someone but you could easily get beat if they perfect you now the other two variants are awesome. The light rifle is good and powerful but slow, plasma caster can be good in areas with lots of enemies I’m still not great with it, hydra launcher took some time for me to get good with but once you do its incredible.
I like to call Lightrifles the Assistrifle. If you miss the head on your 3rd shot its a free assist every time. It’s body damage is a joke. Caster, and Boltshot are criminally underrated, and Hydra’s are good niche weapons, but a lot of the time there is too much crap in the way, and the missiles get blocked.
The light rifle is the best precision weapon in the game. 4 shots to kill, just like the BR. If you only hit body shots, takes 3 to drop shields and it’s 2 to the body just like the DMR. Hands down best precision weapon.
