For a game so heavily predicated on teamwork, Reach does not offer you many ways to celebrate your battle victories as a team. The ability to press a button to initiate a high five while standing next to a teammate would add a lot of camaraderie to the game!
#4 - Gun Stealing
Have you ever watched as a sniper slowly crept around a corner? The long barrel of the sniper rifle gives him away long before he breathes the open air. You should have the option of grabbing the gun by its barrel and stealing it from the coward.
#3 - Playing Opossum
No one ever pays much attention to the bodies lying on the ground. Imagine laying yourself down upon the ground and waiting for an enemy to unsuspectingly walk by, only to get back on your feet and assassinate him mercilessly!
#2 - Hunger
Everyone has to eat. Even Master Chief himself must eat every once in a while. Consider the addition of a hunger attribute to the game of Reach! As you play from game to game, your character becomes increasingly hungry. You must occasionally retire from the firefighting to forage for fresh foodstuffs. If you do not eat, then your character’s stomach will begin growling, giving your position away to nearby players.
#1 - Mercenary / Freelancer System
You have more cR than you will ever really spend. Why not put them to use? Does your team routinely finish 5 or 6 kills behind a crass team of British players? Hire an MLG mercenary for 20000 cR and see who wins the next game! Tired of the other team armor locking? Pay them 5 or 10 cR to stop using it. (Armor Lockers are cheap, they’ll take it!) The possibilities seem endless!
Or how about a Charity option? Want everyone on your team to have Birthday Party or Heart Attack, and you have cR to spare? Buy it for them for one game.
> What happens in the case of #3 when someone tries to -Yoink!- you? O_O

> Also, need more vending machines. I know my squad gets thirsty but I can’t even buy them sodas on Reflection, the machines seem to be out of order.
They need a soda grenade option. Shake and throw. Causes no damage, but temporarily blinds your opponent.

I think Bungie originally intended this, after all…
