Warzone Firefight is starting to grow on me and I keep playing it more and more. There are however a few rounds which are near-impossible to do. Here are my top 5 hardest Warzone Firefight rounds.
-
Deacon Pipap on Raid on Apex 7: I don’t know if anyone ever made this round. First you have to kill a grunt mech surrounded by an army of knights ONLY to find out you still have a mythic boss to kill after that…when you’ll probably only have 10 seconds left. - Banshee Raiders on Urban: Never made this round. Having five legendary banshees roaming the skies already at round 3 when nobody has the REQ’s yet to actually combat them is quite frustrating, especially when said banshees have the firepower and accuracy to combat God himself. - Warden Eternal on Urban: You’re ready for this… everybody has spawned their Scorpions and Wraith’s waiting outside the garage to tear Warden a new one, we can’t lose the final round right? What’s that? 20 Knights spawned just outside the garage and wiped out everyone before they could even fire a shot at Warden? Too bad. - Mantises on Skirmish at Darkstar: Round 3, three garage camping 20-ton bullet sponges, 10 Knights camping alongside them and an army of other Prometheans surrounding that. Need to say more? - Warden Eternal on Raid on Apex 7: Two Wardens? No problem. Two Wardens at round 3? Problem. Forerunner cores on Urban was a contender for this list.
Which rounds are ridiculous to you? And should they be fixed?
Any defend objective featuring promeatheans.

This & warden in home base.
Any fifth round involving 3 Wardens in the back of a base is brutally hard. Simply getting the necessary vehicles (scorpions and wraiths) into the base is infuriating, as knights and soldiers litter the place. There’s also the threat of a Warden hitting you with an EMP blast and disabling you, and before you can even move again, your vehicle is disabled again. Plus, there is the horrendous chance of spawning directly under the mythic Warden when selecting a vehicle. I’m convinced that escaping this spawn in a tank is literally impossible.
The wraith on arc, lots of defense and too many players try to skip taking down said defense and go straight for the wraith resulting in multiple players hanging out on the respawn screen instead of making progress toward the final takedown
The temple wardens on sanctum. Vehicles are almost useless here and since it’s usually a higher level objective players are often already in big vehicles that they don’t want to get out of.
Grunt mech (w/e his name is) on apex. He has lots of recurring support and there’s very little cover available on the beach.
I dedicate my last 2 choices to most round 3 objectives or higher on stormbreak simply because finding your objective is the hardest part.
Any boss hiding inside a building in round 3/5.
I’M TALKING ABOUT YOU WARDEN ETERNAL… hiding in the Temple.
I’M TALKING ABOUT YOU KNIGHTS… hiding in the Colony
My Solution strategies: communication is key and if you see a warthog without a gunner, get inside don’t walk around it.
Banshee Raiders on Urban: (I usually have at least level 4 reqs)
called in my own rocket hog and was unable to lock on to the raiders sometimes because they were too high so someone will need to take their shields or kill the non-boss banshees. Also has anyone had people needing a gunner and have every person walk right past and just shoot with their guns?
4 mantis on Sanctam:
I used a Mantis to take the shields downs and give my team a chance to hit it with their tanks. My recommendation is to actually call in rocket hogs and Gauss hogs. The reason behind this is that they are spread out and you will need to duck in and out of cover to shoot them. The last one can have a warthogs near one of the openings of the top level to take potshots if it can be seen and the rest of the team will need to go in with one person designated as the emp while every one else fires at the crotch(mantis weak spot) with any reqs they called in.
Warden Eternal on Urban(where the wardens spawn in the base): I have done this successfully once because everyone trusted what I said.
Came up with my own solution by having a banshee pilot splatter the soldiers as soon as they spawn so there is as much time as possible to take the base. have 2 scorpions/ mantis waiting close but away from the ramp and take the wave of knights, eventually they stop. using ghost ultras and mantises. Ghosts can go up and ram soldiers. Mantis can use the back ramp to go up and take pop shot at the warden. Kill the legendary ones first and finish the mythic one last.
My difficult ones
Deacon Pipap on Raid on Apex 7: The absolute worst. Scorpions can’t always get the angle to hit it some times and the knights are overkill. I stopped calling in warthogs because nobody gets in and sometimes if I am the gunner, the driver moves me to vantage point, gets out and then I get killed.
2 Wardens in raid on Apex 7: At that point in the game, it is usually level 3 or 4 reqs, 5 if you are lucky. I would try to kill the knights and take their incineration cannon and shoot the warden with it but alot of them are too close to him. They should reduce the number significantly and guard the warden with soldiers instead.
4 mantis on Santum: Yes I gave a solution but the chance of your team listening and the time being enough is slim. Take the mantis out of the garage and only have the three on the outside.
Defend the Generator on skrimish at Darkstar and other defence:
This one requires you to have the advantage. for Darkstar having a Mantis will help but your team must be able to compensate when you need to recover shields.
Find and kill Hunters on March on Stormbreak:
as you complete it, the harder it is to find a hunter and kill it in time. This one is one I picked at random
Yeah, the Wardens and bosses in the Home bases are hard. They just keep hiding behind walls so the only way to shoot them is to get close. When you get close, you die. Also, I’m sad how you can’t hijack Phaetons anymore ;(
