Top 3 Maps from Previous Halo Games

So here’s the rules:

Pick 3 maps from each H1, H2, H3, Reach and H4. One of the maps has to Arena style(Best for FFA slayer/objective), one Team Based(Mid-sized, best for team games), and one Big Team(Best for large battles). You must choose a map from it’s original origin. (For instance, you cannot choose Blackout, since it is in H2 as Lockout [note that spiritual successors do not apply to this rule]) You MUST follow this pattern in the thread. I’ll start

Halo 1:
Arena: Derelict
Team: Battle Creek
Big Team: Gephyrophobia

Halo 2:
Arena: Midship
Team: Zanzibar
Big Team: District

Halo 3:
Arena: Guardian
Team: High Ground
Big Team: Valhalla

Halo Reach:
Arena: Countdown
Team: Boardwalk
Big Team: Highlands

Halo 4:
Arena: Skyline
Team: Monolith
Big Team: Vortex

Note that with Halo Reach and Halo 4 it’s hard to find maps that fit the criteria since they are so oddly designed, so just wing it.

I still don’t get it, so we say which maps we would want in a perfect halo; but what does arena team and big team have to do with it? There are a lot of maps that are good for several gametypes. Also, I don’t know what old maps have to do with creating a picture of a perfect Halo. For me a perfect Halo is a Halo that has all original maps that can be good for all or most gametypes, and that also is an innovator for FPS games everywhere, and where they come up with new gametypes like extraction.

Basically it comes down to narrowing down your favorite maps from previous Halos. Maybe it has nothing to do with the perfect Halo. Perfect Halo is not the point, maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned that. The point is to pinpoint your favorite Arena, Team, and Big Team maps from the previous Halo Games. Forget about the perfect Halo, I think I’ll remove that as it will probably sidetrack people from the point of this thread
