Does anyone know what it means?
Maybe it’s the Easter egg ske7ch mentioned in the CU?
I think it means you got most of your kills by damaging enemies just before the round was over.
I see it from time to time and still have no clue what it’s about.
Perhaps enemies killed by the game after taking shots at them when the round ends?
When you damaging an enemy and this enemy got killed by the game,it count as death through guardians.

If it is mongoose sumo.u damaged them before they fell off.

Similar to the Sayonara medal?
In halo it’s always been due to a death by anything other than a player, like say there is a big tower that shoots you on a map and kills you, that’s a guardian kill.

Edge mentioned that getting kills by shooting enemies (but not killing them) as the round ends can sometimes result in The Guardians being credited for it. So it’s unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.
Slightly related, I’ve noticed that if your tool of destruction is Jorge’s Chaingun it just says ‘Unknown’, unless that’s been fixed recently?

I don’t think it’s been fixed, as I didn’t see anything in the patch notes about it.
Wish we had some more clues as to where to find the Easter egg!

I don’t think is the Easter egg too, coz I saw a similar post long time ago.
this has happened to me as well. I was so confused but happy to see it’s still a thing.
