So I have recently completed all unlocks for common - rare items. That means its time to start buying gold packs and be treated to only Ultra Rare - Legendary items!! But wait hold on… With the newest update they are released 48 new Reqs, 29 of which are of common - rare quality. Let’s break down some math on what is now required to start seeing 100% chance of Ultra Rare - Legendary from gold packs.
Average of 2050 Req points per 20 minute game, in regular Warzone with a 50/50 win Ratio.
75,000 / 2050 = roughly 37 games @ 20 mins. a piece
So folks, that means anyone who was qualified to start buying Gold packs, based on the progression method will now have about 12 more hours of Warzone grind ahead of them. I feel like its way to early to start releasing all this new stuff ( a lot of which are pointless reskins)
I think it’s nice to see they’re adding stuff in, but I also feel like it’s a little soon to be releasing more stuff.
There’s just so much to have in the game that I was surprised to see the new cosmetics released already.
All you need to do is just unlock Gold packs to get the stuff you want, at least you have a higher chance than you would have for finding stuff below Ultra Rare items.
Honestly i’m okay with it for now. But if they do another wave in december I hope they keep it a little more light on new reqs and heavy on new maps for warzone and arena. In december i’d be okay with mk IV, V as promised…a UNSC flying vehicle if possible, and the CE magnum and rocket launcher and thats it. We don’t need any more skins/reskins of warthogs or mongeese or reskins of existing armor. I don’t think they needed to do another reskin of the venture armor with this weeks update…its bloating the req system with reskins of the same -Yoink- and its going to create an enormous daunting grind.

Damn right.
They said during the development of H4, that they couldn’t add anything because they were already pushing the console to its limits.
Put your money where your mouth is 343i. You should be dropping reqs every two weeks and maps every other two weeks.
Its high time devs are held accountable for statements spoken to the consumer base.

Why take the journey if you’re not going to enjoy it?
If you’re here to grind for 100% just because you can, there is no complaining when the 100% is “raised” so you must travel farther. You’re here for the grind, you’re getting MORE grind.
Play, buy what you want, take what you get. Or enjoy the grind.
There is already a significant amount of req content in the game, I would prefer that 343 focus on adding content to the game rather than cosmetic elements
I would rather have 1 barebones falcon added to warzone rather than have 30 new warthog variants
