Every other game is slayer, many times 2x in a row. make it so we’re not forced to play a certain game mode or get banned for quitting.
At least your playing a game where people actually play instead of letting the enemy team win…

You’re lucky. I got around 400 games played and I got Slayer maybe 30 times…

It doesn’t matter, I have to play with randoms so no one sticks together or has mics, meaning I hit 3 and 2 v 1 all the time and just get destroyed. At least in objective I can stick with someone random heading that way. Think I’m gonna have to quit until these multiplayer issues get sorted out unfortunately. The ban system is f-ing terrible as well. Forces people to sit through game modes they don’t like and sit in matches where teammates rage quit or dc for whatever reason.

What is slayer? Is this in 4v4? I played hours of 4v4 and only had CTF, one flag, oddball and stronghold…
In seriousness I wish I could play slayer 
good point i don’t see slayer as much as I see oddball CTF and other modes, the one map and game mode i like playing launch pad and One flag doesn’t show up enough, if you ask me.
Also there’s the little detail of BTB CTF not needing the flag home to score so… yeah what’s the point??

I personally get more Oddball than anything else and I loath Oddball.
First two games this morning yet again slayer. Whatever I’ll keep quitting and downranking and dealing with the ban until 343 fixes this. So sick of it. I get put in randoms teams every time that refuse to work together and stick together and everyone goes negative while the other team goes off. It’s just unreal.
I rarely get Slayer. That’s usually all I play in the older titles.

Opposite story for me. I only like playing objective when I have a team. I’d much rather play Slayer when I’m solo, and even when I’m not, I still prefer it.

I hate slayer, especially solo. No one works together and I end up in 2v1 and 3v1 situations repeatedly and rarely ever win the game, Just took the ban and will get on later. Unreal that 3/4 matches are slayer.
Too much slayer would suit me, if I had the choice to select slayer I would install the game.
What I don’t understand is how you’re alright with randoms in objective games, which arguably requires much more teamwork. You also have the added issue of people not playing the objective, and you still have the 2v1 issue present as well.
At least in Slayer, you can solo-carry your team, and the K/D tryhards that don’t play the objective will automatically be playing the mode correctly.

Because kdr doesn’t matter in objective games. I don’t have to try and follow someone and watch my back constantly at the same time. I can haul in and capture objectives and then die it doesn’t matter. I can go 3-12 and win and not lose rank. It’s more fun than getting in slayer and getting mopped because I’m trying to stick with a random so we don’t get outmanned/outgunned repeatedly.
The one slayer game I did win this morning I caught someone with a mic and we were able to get a steaktacular. So I will say that
I rarely stick with teammates in Slayer and usually go positive in most of my games.
Kdr still matters because running and dying nonsensically puts you on a 10 second respawn timer, and during that time, whatever progress you made towards the objective is likely to get reset, making your death absolutely pointless.
What’s probably happening in that scenario, is that you’re getting carried by your team. What little impact you made on the objective is getting cleaned up by your teammate. So in Slayer, since there is no objective, you don’t have your team to make up for your errors and the responsibility goes solely to you in order to perform well mechanically as an FPS player.
I’m not trying to call you out or anything, but I definitely wouldn’t want someone who goes that negative on my team in ANY objective mode, because they’re essentially dead weight.
